News broke on Friday, November 21 that Kandi Burruss and her husband of 11 years, Todd Tucker, are headed for a divorce.
People says Kandi asked for privacy in a statement where she revealed she’s going through “a difficult and emotional time” as she closes the chapter with Todd, whom she married on April 4, 2014 in a wedding special that aired on Bravo.
Recently, Todd’s social media activity has revolved around his “Daddy daycare” videos he shares while transporting the two kids he shares with Kandi in the car. But six weeks ago, he shared a final photo together with Kandi. Read on for details.
Todd and Kandi’s Last Instagram Photo
Six weeks before their divorce announcement, Todd shared a photo of himself posing with Kandi and their two kids, and the family was all smiles. Along with the two kids they share, Todd and Kandi each have one child of their own from before their relationship. Todd has a 29-year-old daughter named Kaela, and Kandi is the mom of Riley Burruss, 23, who stars on Bravo’s “Next Gen NYC.” Ariana Biermann, the daughter of Kandi’s former longtime “RHOA” castmate, Kim Zolciak, is another cast member on the show.
In the final family photo, the quartet beams while enjoying a fun day of apple picking. Fans filled the comments calling them “a beautiful family,” and one pointed out they had “a little Todd, and a little Kandi.”
Todd Recently Congratulated Kandi On Her New Play
Shortly after posting his final photo with Kandi, Todd congratulated the “No Scrubs” songwriter on joining the cast of a play. He shared a snap of an announcement that revealed, “Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Kandi Burruss Joins Broadways ‘& Juliet’ Cast.” Todd put his admiration for Kandi on display by captioning the post, “She cant be stopped! And another one! Keep shining and keep inspiring!”
Kandi then responded by leaving four heart emojis. Playbill reported in October that the 49-year-old would will play a limited run as Angélique in the production.
Todd Still Hangs Out With Kandi’s Friend Shamea
Despite the breakup between Kandi and Todd, her close friend Shamea Morton appears to still be tight with Todd. Three weeks ago, the 43-year-old appeared in a video to promote Kandi and Todd’s film, “Don’t Bring Your Man to Atlanta.” Shamea, a main cast member in the project, told fans “I put my best into this thing. Did my big one!”
On November 8, Todd sat courtside without Kandi as the Hawks played the Los Angeles Lakers.
