Kyle Richards Talks Dating Amid Relationship Revelation and Mauricio Split

Kyle Richards is finally opening up about her dating life following her split from Mauricio Umansky. In a recent episode of the “RHOBH After Show,” Richards outlined her dating boundaries, addressed red flags, and confirmed she is currently single after a brief relationship following the split.

Kyle Richards Shares Dating Red Flags on ‘RHOBH After Show’

In “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show” for season 15, episode 3, the cast discussed a speed-dating event hosted by Bozoma Saint John. While Richards said the men selected were “not at all” her type, the experience clarified what she is and is not looking for in a partner.

When asked about red flags, Richards said, “If someone doesn’t like animals or doesn’t like kids.” She added another concern that stands out for her now. “Also, if somebody is a certain age and never been married, never had kids, that would be a red flag.”

Amanda Frances responded, “Could be.”

Other cast members shared their own dealbreakers. Dorit Kemsley, who filed for divorce from Paul “PK” Kemsley during season 15, said being “stingy” would be a problem for her. Saint John agreed, saying, “If you even sneeze when I’m like, ‘Ooh, I think I would like that…’ Or I see a little twitch in your eye? Red flag!”

Kemsley also said she could not imagine splitting the bill on a date. Saint John responded, “You know what? If we’re going to split it, I’m just going to cover it. And I’m never talking to you again.”

Inside Bozoma Saint John’s Speed-Dating Event

The speed-dating event aired during the Dec. 18 episode, when Saint John gathered a group of eligible bachelors from her personal network, including realtors and attorneys. “There was such great guys, and these are great girls,” Saint John said in the After Show.

The women later joked that they all showed up wearing black. “No one got the romantic note,” Richards said. “Everyone’s basically looking like they’re mourning here.”

Erika Jayne added, “We look like we’ve been through the mill,” while Jennifer Tilly chimed in, “Black is not a flirty color.”

Sutton Stracke defended her look, saying, “I dressed for speed dating appropriately. Not, like, crazy sexy, but not in a cat sweater,” referencing her memorable outfit from season 12.

According to Saint John, Kemsley received the most attention from the men. “You were the belle of the ball,” she told Kemsley. “It was actually quite impressive.”

Kemsley credited Saint John’s efforts, saying, “She did not half-ass this.” Saint John explained that the event was intentional. “Specifically for Dorit, I wanted the merger to go well because I wanted her to feel like she’s sexy and that people are interested in her,” she said, teasing more matchmaking ahead.

Kyle Richards Opens Up About Post-Split Relationship

Richards has also addressed speculation about her love life after separating from Umansky. During a conversation with Jayne and later in a confessional, Richards finally confirmed she was in a relationship following the split.

“Since separating from Mau, I was in a relationship,” Richards said. “I was in a very vulnerable place in my life, and I fell hard for this person.”

She explained why it ended. “When I’m in love with somebody, I want to share that. I’m an open person like that. But that doesn’t mean the person I’m with feels the same way.”

Richards confirmed she is single now. “All the speculation and the gossip and the talking is what ultimately ended it,” she said. “I could’ve weathered the storm. But this is not for everyone.”

Although fans speculated she was dating Morgan Wade — rumors both denied — Richards told US Weekly in 2024, “What’s hard is I can only speak on my behalf. I’m not here to speak on anyone’s behalf but my own, especially someone who’s not signed up to do this show.”

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams on Peacock.
