Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes are back in the Bravo conversation after fresh rumors suggested the country singer could potentially join “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
The speculation started after former “Bachelorette” star Rachel Lindsay mentioned on the “Ringer Reality TV” podcast that she had heard Rimes’ name being discussed in connection to the Bravo franchise ahead of next season.
“To that I’ll say, as fellow Dallas girl, I’ll take it! Sign her up!” Lindsay said.
The rumor quickly gained traction online, largely because of Rimes’ long and highly publicized history with Glanville.
LeAnn Rimes Responds to RHOBH Rumors
After the speculation started circulating across social media and Bravo fan accounts, Rimes addressed the rumors directly in the comments section of an Instagram post discussing the casting buzz.
“omg, dying! SCHOOL QUEEN 👸 no, no…. no housewives for me. playing dixie on 911 nashville is drama enough for me 😂,” Rimes wrote.
Her response quickly spread online as Bravo fans reacted to the idea of the Grammy-winning singer potentially stepping into the world of “RHOBH.”
While Bravo has not publicly commented on the rumors, fans immediately began debating what Rimes joining the franchise could mean — especially given her history with Glanville.
Brandi Glanville’s Comment Quickly Went Viral
Before Rimes responded herself, Glanville appeared to react to the rumors with a sarcastic post on X.
“I hope it’s true about RHOBH I mean she got everything else of mine — husband, kids, boobs, bronco, random illnesses she might as well just be a housewife and finish it off once and for all,” Glanville wrote.
The post quickly went viral among Bravo fans, many of whom revisited the years-long history between the two women.
The conversation surrounding Rimes potentially joining RHOBH also sparked reactions from other Bravo personalities. During an episode of the “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast, Teddi Mellencamp said she did not believe the rumors.
“I do not believe this for a second,” Mellencamp said. “That’s not going to happen. And two, I just don’t see her.”
Dolores Catania appeared slightly more open to the possibility, adding, “I’d like to see something on the next season. But hey, that’s just me.”
The History Between Glanville, Rimes & Eddie Cibrian Still Draws Attention
The public fascination surrounding Glanville and Rimes dates back more than a decade.
In 2009, reports surfaced that Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian had begun a relationship while both were still married to other people. At the time, Cibrian was married to Glanville. Rimes and Cibrian later married in 2011.
Over the years, both women have occasionally suggested their relationship improved, particularly as they co-parented Glanville and Cibrian’s two sons, Mason and Jake. Still, tension between the two has periodically resurfaced publicly.
Just last month, Glanville appeared to question the public reaction surrounding Rimes’ viral jaw release treatment video during an episode of her “Unfiltered” podcast.
“I don’t understand why I saw it, and I’ve had that done a million times because I have TMJ,” Glanville said. “They put on gloves and they go inside your mouth, and it’s very painful.”
Rimes later responded to criticism surrounding the treatment during an April Instagram post.
“I’m like, ‘I can act, but I am not that good,’” Rimes said. “I’m not that good. I’m not Meryl Streep.”
For now, Rimes appears focused on music and acting rather than joining the Bravo universe. Still, the rumors — and the reactions they sparked — proved fans remain deeply invested in one of reality TV’s most talked-about celebrity storylines.
