RHOBH alum Lisa Rinna has never been shy about her love of working.
From “Days of Our Lives” and DWTS to eight dramatic seasons on RHOBH and one season of “The Traitors,” the actress and television personality has built a career on saying “yes” to staying in front of the camera. But even she has her limits.
These Are The Two Shows Lisa Rinna Will Never Do
GettyAfter completing “The Traitors” Season 4, Lisa Rinna is looking for a new gig.
She told People Magazine that the two shows fans will never see her on are two of the most popular in reality show history.
“No ‘Survivor’ and no ‘Big Brother,’ none of that. No, no,” Rinna said. “We’re couture.”
She added, “The ones that I shouldn’t do, I’ve passed on.”
Rinna concluded, “The thing is, I need to be on television, so we need to find me a show. So hurry up, so hurry up.”
Lisa Rinna Said Reality TV Had a Positive Career Impact, But She’s Never Return to RHOBH
Lisa Rinna cites her reality television career as having a positive impact on her craft. She said it made her a better actor.
She told Jennifer Hudson in 2024, “It has made me a better actor,” she said at the time. “I’m acting again [and] I’m not kidding. You laugh, but it’s true. I think it made me a better actor.”
Rinna continued, “Working with those women, going through that experience. I did a movie called ‘Mommy Meanest,’ which I trained for for 8 years on that show.” The Lifetime film, where Rinna co-starred with her daughter Delilah Belle Hamlin, told the story of a teenager who was cyberbullied by her own mother.
“I had a lot to pull from after working for 8 years on that show. Different psychologies of different women I never would have come across that if I hadn’t done that show,” she deduced.
However, despite the influence that being a cast member of RHOBH had on her career, Rinna says she would never return to the franchise.
“I wouldn’t,” she said. “I’m grateful for that show.”
She added, “I’m the person I am today because of it, but I’ll never go back. Nope, I did it. Did it, done it, saw the movie.”
Lisa Rinna Would Revist One Reality Show, But As An Audience Member
Despite her reluctance to return to RHOBH, Lisa Rinna would revisit one reality show, but only as an audience member. She admits she would love for her daughters to appear on DWTS and she, in turn, could cheer them on from the audience.
In an interview with People Magazine Rinna shared her hopes daughters Delilah, 28, and Amelia, 25, would be asked to join the reality competition series as celebrity contestants. Rinna’s husband Harry Hamlin, is the girls’ dad.
“Can you imagine?” she stated. “I would love to see that.”
The actress called competing on DWTS “life-changing. It’s the greatest thing I’ve ever done.”
“It really is. I’ll never forget it, and I wish I could do it again,” she added.
“I needed something to, like, shake me out of whatever I was in. And, you know, I think what it does is it just opens you up. It opened me up in a way. It freed me. I don’t know how to say it. It just freed me, and then your confidence is up, and you just have fun,” the former RHOBH star concluded.
