Before tearing it up at BravoCon, the 46-year-old mom and “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” stunner strutted her stuff on the beaches of St. Barths in the Caribbean. She was joined by her husband, Joe Gorga, whose sister is RHONJ mainstay Teresa Giudice. Both Melissa and Joe looked fit, tan, and happy as they posed in the crystal waters for a photo, which she posted to her Instagram.
Recently engaged costar and fan favorite, Dolores Catania, commented “Unreallll,” complete with a fire emoji. Fellow reality gals, Kristin Cavallari and Heather Dubrow, also liked it.
Clearing Her Mind
GettyAside from a break from the chilly New Jersey weather, this beach vacay no doubt gives Melissa the chance to clear her mind from the ever-present questions pertaining to her possible reconciliation with Teresa, her sister-in-law. They feuded from Melissa’s arrival on “RHONJ” in season 3, when Teresa was already a cast member, to the show itself being in limbo at the end of season 14.
While promoting her episode of “Wife Swap: The Real Housewives addition,” Melissa told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” that she hopes for a private reunion that will serve their relationship and not the cameras.
On the future of the show itself, in September, she said at the Virtual Reali-Tea Awards, “The truth is, they’re figuring it out. I know you don’t want to hear this – none of us wants to hear this. I wish I had better answers for you, but they’re figuring it out.”
Housewives Aside
GettyAside from RHONJ, Melissa is focusing on her cookie empire. Specifically, expanding her “Let’s Sprinkle by MG” cookie and coffee line. In season 3 of RHONJ, fans surely remember when Melissa brought sprinkle cookies to Teresa’s home and all hell broke loose because Teresa’s favorite cookies are of the pignoli variety. It’s nice to see that years later, Melissa decided to turn that moment of sister strife into a thriving business.
In addition to marketing cookies, cakes, and coffee, Melissa also runs three Envy boutiques (two in New Jersey and one on Long Island, NY). She also had a podcast, “On Display with Melissa Gorga,” but she took a step back from that in July of this year to focus on her other business ventures. And from the looks of her recent beach adventure, the future looks bright.
