“Real Housewives of Rhode Island” star Kelsey Swanson revealed what she misses most about her life with her wealthy ex-boyfriend following their split.
During a May 3 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” the Bravo TV newcomer told host Andy Cohen that there was one perk in particular that she wishes she still had after living in her former beau’s sprawling mansion for the past 10 years. “How can I choose? There’s so many perks,” Swanson laughed, before adding, “To be honest….It’s having my laundry be done.”
The RHORI star explained that her ex had a hired helper who took care of “everything” around the house. “Yeah, she really did. I miss her a lot,” Swanson said. “She lived with us. She undid the bed, redid the bed, undid the bed, the laundry, the folding of the underwear, she did everything.”
Kelsey Swanson Had an Unconventional Relationship
Swanson’s ex was never shown on RHORI due to the former couple’s unconventional relationship, which included him dating other women. The wealthy mystery man had also made it clear that marriage would not be in his future with Swanson, which caused her to rethink the relationship.
RHORI viewers saw Swanson make the decision to end the relationship and move out of her ex’s palatial estate.
“There’s nothing more that I’m going to get out of this relationship or that’s going to change and be different than what it is now,” she shared on the May 3 episode of the Bravo reality show. “It was a certain way at the beginning, and there was maybe one other person, but as the years went on, there was more people than I initially thought.”
On “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island After Show,” Swanson explained that she knew her ex had been seeing other women when they first started their relationship, but found out later that there were more women than she knew about. “I was always in constant fear and anxiety of what I was gonna find out next,” she shared. “I was afraid to ask the questions.”
“As bad as that was, there were so many other great things that we were doing together, that he was doing for me,” Swanson continued. “You take your emotions out of it.”
Kelsey Swanson Said Her Ex Doesn’t Have One Main Girlfriend
On WWHL, Swanson confirmed that her ex doesn’t have another girlfriend at this point in time. That was like the first four years,” she said. “He’s been dating multiple women at this point.”
In another segment, she said she did once have a sit-down with one of the women. “We became cordial at that moment,” she said. “We were acknowledging each other’s existence in his lives, and it was good after that, we were friendly.”
Of her decision to finally end the long relationship with the man more than 20 years her senior, the RHORI star added, “There wasn’t a one solid thing that really tipped it over. It was a buildup of things along the years. And I finally, at the age of 30, started thinking about what I really want in life. And I think knowing that I wanted kids and marriage and all that, I knew I just wasn’t going to get it where I was.”
