“Real Housewives of Orange County” recently wrapped season 19. Now, fans are wondering who, in additon to Vicki Gunvalson, will be a part of the cast for its 20th season. Recently, Tamra Judge opened up about the future of the show and what she knows, or doesn’t know, about the casting.
Judge was on a recent episode of Jeff Lewis Live when she was asked about season 20 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” She said, “Well, I think at this point, there’s nothing any of us can do. We’re just sitting ducks right now. We’re just waiting to see if there is, you know, who’s coming back and who’s not.”
Judge continued, “I don’t know that anybody that’s safe except for Vicki, and that’s it, so.” From there, Eddie Judge stated that Vicki hadn’t signed her contract yet, to which Tamra said, “You don’t know that.”
Judge Also Opened Up About Reuniting With Gunvalson
As “Real Housewives of Orange County” fans know, Judge and Gunvalson have not been on good terms for quite some time. Luckily, the two recently made amends. Judge opened up on Jeff Lewis Live about what brought them back together.
She said, “It was probably after she sent something to Teddi and, you know, apologized to her, and sent her a present and all of that stuff that I opened my eyes up to being friends with Vicki again.”
Judge went on to explain that they began talking “back and forth,” and that she openly said on her podcast that Gunvalson should be back for season 20 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” Judge continued, “And that’s all it took, and she’s like, ‘Oh my God, I love Tamra. I love her so much.'”
About Gunvalson returning to the show, Judge said, “I had no idea Vicki was coming back. I wanted her back, but I didn’t know. No one knew.”
Andy Cohen Invited Her Back During BravoCon 2025
Gunvalson announced her “Real Housewives of Orange County” exit in 2020. This came after she’d been a friend of the show for 14 seasons. Since then, she has made brief appearances on the show, namely in season 18 as she’s close with Shannon Beador.
Fast forward to November 2025, and Andy Cohen invited her to join the show as a full-time cast member for season 20. He did it during the “Bravo’s” segment at BravoCon 2025.
He began, “Vicki, can you believe the Real Housewives of Orange County is entering its 20th season next year?” She said, “I can’t, and this is so exciting. I love you guys out there, and I love Bravo. It’s been a great ride.”
Cohen then reached into his pocket and pulled out an orange. After asking if she would return as a housewife, she said, “Yes,” as the crowd, including Judge, cheered.
“The Real Housewives of Orange County” season 20 is expected to premiere in 2026.
