BravoCon 2025 has delivered some exciting news. One of the most talked-about tidbits is that “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice has reconciled with her brother, Joe Gorga, and sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga. Now, she’s responding to the backlash she’s received.
Giudice opened up about her newfound status with the Gorgas to US Weekly during BravoCon 2025. She said, “Ask my brother, I’m the type that holds grudges. I’m very old school. For me to do this, it’s real. He said he was waiting for me because he knew how upset I was about things.”
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star went on to say she’s ignoring the haters. This is especially true of those who say the reconciliation was a way to get back on the show.
According to her, “People who say that have a mean heart. I’m just saying, a mean soul. Everybody should want family to be together. I want to show America what a real Italian family looks like.
She continued, “My ex’s family? They are all together, united. That’s what I always wanted. I want to show America that we could be united, and I want to show our children that too. It’s really important.”
Giudice was also asked about her future with RHONJ. She said, “If they pick me, or they pick my brother, I’ll be so happy for them. It is what it is. Whatever God wants. When one door closes, another one opens.”
Giudice Detailed the Process of Patching Things Up With the Gorgas
Giudice first opened up about wanting to reconcile with her brother and sister-in-law in September. Later, Gorga revealed in an interview that she had texted him. While at BravoCon, Giudice interviewed with PEOPLE about the process of patching things up.
She said, “I reached out to my brother. At first, we were going to meet, the four of us, but then, I said okay, but I was thinking about it, and I wanted to talk to my brother first.”
Giudice continued, “And I wanted him to really see me and to feel it from me and vice versa. So, I felt like the two of us should meet first and then the four of us. That’s what we did.” She continued, saying that the meeting went well.
Fans Were Expecting an Update on RHONJ at BravoCon
In the months leading up to BravoCon 2025, many fans assumed there would be an announcement regarding “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” This is especially after Giudice had been open about repairing things with the Gorgas. However, Andy Cohen revealed before the convention that this was not the case.
He was on the “Housewives Nightcap” podcast when the hosts alluded to an announcement. He said, “Well, I can tell you- you’re not going to get one. There is no Jersey announcement. We will announce something when the casting is right.”
Cohen continued, “We’re not going to be backed into something that’s not going to be great because the Jersey fans deserve greatness and we’re not there yet.”
This comes after reports that the network was unhappy with the recent test filming for the show. Notably, the rumored test filming did not include Giudice.

Oh Teresa, will last a short time with making up with Joe and Melissa.
Joe knows his sister. Don’t trust her
Leave her and her awful husband out of it. They spoilt the whole show
