Donna Mills, 85, who starred in the nighttime series “Knots Landing,” watched as her daughter Chloe Mills married her fiancé, Travis Collings, on May 31, 2026. She shared an emotional Instagram post celebrating their union with a speech she “poured her heart” into.

Donna Mills shared a video clip of photos taken at her daughter Chloe Mills’ wedding to Travis Collings. The event took place on May 31 at Los Olivos, California.
She captioned it, “I’m not a writer, but for my daughter Chloe’s wedding, I wanted to find the words. I wanted to capture what she means to me, the joy of that day, and how grateful I am for the incredible man she chose in Travis.”
Mills concluded, “So I poured my heart into a speech. Honestly, I could go on and on…but see my post -It’s all there.”
In the post, Mills read her speech. In it she said, “When Chloe was just two years old, she stood up in her crib and said, ‘Our heartstrings are tied together.’ And so they were, and so they are.”
“She has brought joy into my life from the first moment she was placed in my arms. She created a love in me that was so much deeper than I ever knew possible.”
“Now that she has a baby [son Colter Benjamin], she totally understands what I was talking about when I told her how much I loved her,” Mills continued. “How your love for your child transcends all other love.”
“Raising you my darling was the best thing I have ever done. And it gave me more happiness than I could ever have possibly known.”
“You are a beautiful, strong, talented, and smart woman. But what makes you the most special is that you are a kind woman,” Mills concluded.
