“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, May 27, reveal that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) romance heats up.
Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) makes a promise to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Plus, Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) life hangs in the balance as he suffers another overdose.
‘The Young & the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Corners Matt & Phyllis
On Wednesday, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) confronts Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for negotiating with Nick behind his back.
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) steps in and asks the redhead if she’s selling him out. Phyllis denies it and tells Matt that she’s trying to help him out.
Phyllis turns to the Newmans and insists Matt is the same person he was. Then, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) arrive.
Matt is glad they’re all here, saying it gives him a chance to make amends. But Victor isn’t having it. “Your days of terrorizing the family are over,” The Mustache warns.
Nick Overdoses
Nick tells Matt no one’s buying his act. “You’re going down whether you remember the reasons or not,” he declares.
Sharon jumps in and reminds Matt that he did unspeakable things to her, but Phyllis is quick to defend him. Then, Sienna asks if he really doesn’t know who she is.
“I do remember something,” Matt replies to Sienna. “You tried to kill me.”
Matt tells everyone he’s sorry, but Nick declares they are way past that. Nick starts calling Detective Burrow, and Matt notices his fingers are shaking.
Then, Nick drops his phone and collapses. Sharon and Victor hover over Nick, and Phyllis asks what’s happening. Matt looks down and says, “He’s ODing.”
‘The Young & the Restless’ Spoilers: Lily & Cane Kiss
CBSMeanwhile, Devon urges Lily to move on from Cane. He insists Cane will only take advantage of her gratitude after saving Malcolm Winters’ (Shemar Moore) life.
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Lily puts Devon on blast, telling him to let go of his anger.
Later, Lily arrives on Cane’s train. He surprises her with a romantic dinner and a bottle of champagne. As they enjoy the night, Cane asks Lily how it went with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens).
“It kind of feels like he and Stephanie have been part of our family this whole time,” Lily replies. Cane is glad everything’s going well.
Their conversation turns to Victor and the faux kidnapping. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Cane asks Lily what the Newman patriarch offered her to go along with his scheme.
“Victor promised me Chancellor again,” she replies. Cane tells Lily he needed more time.
After dessert, Cane walks Lily over to the doorway, leans in, and kisses her. Lily kisses him back and says goodnight. As she walks down the hallway, Lily smiles to herself.
