It seems to be way too early into “Survivor 50” for this to happen, but it looks like we have the merge tonight on “Survivor” on CBS. Host Jeff Probst will surprise these returning castaways on “Survivor” 2026 with boats and a note to “drop your buffs.” It looks like we are merging into one tribe, which seems like it will be a very large tribe. I think Jeff has something up his sleeve, but who gets voted off “Survivor 50” tonight? Find out during our “Survivor” season 50 live recap below!
The Merge on ‘Survivor’ 2026
We have seen a lot of action with last week’s episode and the plans for tonight’s episode. Last week, Jeff surprised the castaways at the Immunity Challenge. There would be only one tribe that would win immunity for the week. That meant the two other tribes would be headed to Tribal Council, where they would each vote a person off.
It was intense, but it ended up being Charlie voted off the Cila Tribe, and Angelina voted off the Vatu Tribe. Now, boats arrive at camps tonight, and a note saying to “drop your buffs” from Jeff. Are we heading into the merge already? We will find out tonight!
Who will get voted off tonight? We made our predictions earlier, but find out who got eliminated on “Survivor” season 50 during our “Survivor” live recap below.

Week 6 Begins
We have the aftermath of last week’s Tribal Council. Rizo is feeling confident. Jonathan wants to work with Dee and Camilla. Then a boat arrives at camp! They get notes and are told to drop their buffs! They have 10 minutes to collect their things, and the boat will take them to their new home!
Before heading to their new home, Ozzy wants to solidify his trust and alliance with Emily and Christian. He tells them both he has an idol. And Ozzy has already given back Christian’s shot in the dark.
Merging Camps
All 17 castaways make their way to their new home. They get buffs, so this is a legit merge, huh? Everyone starts talking, and Genevieve learns that Aubry has an idol, which they say Devens sent it to her. Everyone knows these details now.
Then Genevieve tells Ozzy she sent him an idol. That goes around camp also. However, Genevieve isn’t sharing that she sent Rizo an idol, too. He thought it was Genevieve, but she denied it.
Jonathan loves the fact that he is able to talk to all of these “Survivor” legends. He is bonding well with the old school people. He seems to be working with everyone right now.
A Twist That Could Change Everything!
The next morning arrives and a boat arrives at camp. A man delivers a note, which tells them that there is a special twist hidden out in the jungle. This twist could change the trajectory of the game. The first to find it gets it. It’s a mad dash to find it!
Ozzy finds the clue, and it says he has to go to Exile Island! He has to choose someone to go with him, and he has 5 minutes to pick. Ozzy decides to bring Rizo with him.
Immunity Challenge
The castaways meet Jeff, and he says he wants this season to be memorable. Another twist for the fans. For tonight’s Tribal Council, they are going to send THREE castaways home! They are going to divide into three different groups for a Survivor Blood Moon. For the challenge, they will have to prop themselves in a box and stay on little footings. Stay up the longest for each group, and win immunity. Each group will head to Tribal and vote out one person. There is also a reward, which the person to stay up the longest wins Applebee’s at the sanctuary. Also, if they survive tonight, they will make the jury. No one eliminated tonight will make the jury. Here are the groups:
- Purple: Genevieve, Aubry, Christian, Devens, and Joe
- Teal: Cirie, Emily, Colby, Coach, and Dee
- Orange: Jonathan, Stephenie, Tiffany, Camilla, and Chrissy
Colby injured his foot, so he struggled with this one. He takes a big fall when he tumbles off the wall. They get to the lower pillar, and the castaways start dropping. We have Christian win for Purple and Dee wins for Teal. It comes down to Stephenie and Chrissy, with one of them winning immunity. However, they are the only ones left and will get Applebee’s for their group. Chrissy steps down, so Stephenie wins immunity for herself and Applebee’s for her group.
Exile Island
We head to Exile Island. Ozzy isn’t sure how to take this, as he doesn’t know if this will be an advantage or a disadvantage. Ozzy has been to all the Tribal Councils, so he is glad he doesn’t have to go.
Then Ozzy starts to work it with Rizo, which Cirie told him to do. Rizo tells him that he has an idol, which Ozzy is glad to hear. They seem to solidify an alliance, so they are both happy to be working together.
Reward Time
The winning group heads to the Sanctuary. They are so excited to get food and alcohol! They decide to put the game on hold and just enjoy the reward. Tiffany, though, talks about wanting Chrissy gone.
Speech is done, and we are back!
For the Purple Group, Aubry said she is playing her idol tonight. She wants Genevieve gone. Now Genevieve is trying to work it to stay safe. She is trying to convince Christian to work with her and Joe.
For the Teal Group, Colby is injured and has no vote, so they said he’s like a sitting duck. Coach was supposed to be working with him, but he is throwing him under the bus. He then tells Dee that Emily wanted to come after her, which Dee knows isn’t true. Coach was caught in a lie. They seem to think Colby is sitting back, but Coach is a mess.
Cirie said Colby is running the ship, but Emily and Dee want Coach gone first, and they can get Colby next. Dee said she likes Colby. She’s uncertain of who can help her get further in the game.
Strategizing Time
The Orange Team comes back, and it seems like the vote will go towards Chrissy. Tiffany and Camilla try to convince Jonathan to work with them and vote out Chrissy. Then Chrissy tells Camilla and Tiffany she knows it’s her going home, and that’s fine. Then Chrissy hatches a plan, as she tries to convince Stephenie and Jonathan that they are all cut from the same cloth and they need to get Camilla out.
First Tribal Council
The first group (Orange Group) comes to the first Tribal of the night. Jonathan said it’s time to draw lines in the sand. They said what happens tonight isn’t just between the five of them, but they’ll have to answer to the other castaways back at camp.
Results: The votes are cast. Jeff tallies them, and no idols or advantages played. The votes: Chrissy, Kamilla, Chrissy, Kamilla, and Kamilla. She is shocked and said to drag that man through the mud! Tiffany is shocked, too!
CBSSecond Tribal Council
The next group (Purple) comes into Tribal Council on “Survivor 50.” Genevieve says this was about luck and which team they would draw. Aubry said it’s about working with all people. The big talk is about how the people voted out tonight will not be on the jury and how that factors into things. Lots of talk, but time to get to the vote!
Results: Jeff tallies the votes. Genevieve uses her shot in the dark, and it’s not safe, so any votes cast against her will count. No other idols or advantages played. The votes: Genevieve, Genevieve, and Genevieve. That means Genevieve has been eliminated tonight on “Survivor” 2026.
CBSFinal Tribal Council
The final group (Teal) comes into Tribal Council. We talk to Coach and Colby about how long it’s been since they’ve been to a Tribal. Colby thinks he is a sitting duck, so he feels he is going home. Cirie said it’s not over until the fat lady sings, and she hasn’t heard any singing yet. Colby gets emotional talking about his journey and time on the show. He is thankful they brought him back. This is a very emotional Tribal Council, as these are some legends. However, the vote finally comes.
Results: Jeff tallies the votes, and no idols or advantages are played. The votes: Colby, Colby, and Colby. That means Colby has been eliminated tonight.
CBSWhat do you think of the results on “Survivor 50” tonight?

Great episode!
I didn’t like how much time Jeff spent talking about all the Applebee’s meals that would be provided. It felt like a commercial for Applebee’s. It feels like Survivor for Season 50 is a corporate sellout.
