Former “The Bachelor” star Ben Flajnik and his wife, Christina Flajnik, are officially parents after welcoming a baby boy into the world on December 22, 2025.
Ben is best remembered for being the runner-up on Ashley Hebert’s season of “The Bachelorette” in 2011. He later starred as the lead on “The Bachelor” season 16, where he proposed to contestant Courtney Robinson, though the couple ended their engagement in less than a year.
‘The Bachelor’ Star Ben Flajnik Is Officially a Dad
Former “The Bachelor” lead Ben Flajnik is a first-time dad after welcoming a son with his wife, Christina Flajnik. In a joint Instagram post, the couple announced the birth of their son, but have yet to share his name.
The post featured both mom and dad holding their newborn’s tiny feet. The caption of their sweet announcement read, “Baby boy Flajnik made us a family of three on December 22. He has shown us a new level of love we didn’t know was possible. Our hearts are forever changed.”
Bachelor Nation flooded the comment section with congratulatory remarks for the new parents. “😍😍😍congratulations!!!!! That’s a lucky baby!” a comment read. “Dude!!!! Yes!! Welcome to the club,” another person shared.
“Congratulations brother!! Life will never be the same In the best way possible!” While another comment read, “The best gift! Congrats to you both and wish you many beautiful blessings ahead!✨”
Flajnik announced on Instagram in October 2025 that he and his wife were expecting their first child. Flajnik shared two photos of himself and his wife holding her growing baby bump. He captioned it, “Chapter 2. 🍼”
Ben & Christina Held a Second Wedding Ceremony in Slovenia
Ben and Christina tied the knot in October 2023 in an intimate ceremony at Mission San Francisco Solano, surrounded by close family. Flajnik shared a photo of himself in a sharp suit, while Christina looked radiant in a wedding dress with a cathedral veil.
He captioned the image, “Last month, in an intimate ceremony surrounded by family I married my best friend and it was the most incredible day of my life. Tears and laughs were had and I’ve never felt so present with another person in my life. I’m so grateful to do life with you and thank you for your unwavering love and support.”
A year later, Flajnik revealed that the couple held a bigger ceremony surrounded by family and friends in Lake Bled, Slovenia, in September. Sharing their wedding photos, the couple looked stunning against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Bled and its iconic castle.
“In early September, my wife and I decided to get married again in a place that we hold so dearly in our hearts, Lake Bled, Slovenia. These photos capture so perfectly how we felt on that magical day surrounded by so many friends and family,” he captioned the photos.
In 2021, Flajnik announced on Instagram that he had officially become a Slovenian citizen, now holding duel citizenship, a decision he made to honor his family heritage.
Holding his official citizenship paperwork in front of the Slovenian embassy, Flajnik shared, “My family’s journey to the United States from Slovenia in the 1950s is a wild one and I wouldn’t be standing here today if it weren’t for the same perseverance from my grandfather, Rude. I’m forever grateful to the country of Slovenia for this recognition, it means so much to me, so thank you.”
