“The Bachelorette” alum Tyler Norris and “The Voice” alum Alyssa Sheridan are officially married—and their wedding day was as meaningful as their love story itself.
The couple tied the knot on April 17 at a scenic venue in Oceanside, California, choosing a location that holds deep personal significance, according to People.
It’s the very place where their relationship first began, making the celebration feel like a full-circle moment.
All About the Gorgeous Wedding
“California is incredibly special to us because it’s where we first met. Being able to celebrate our wedding in the same place where our story began felt really meaningful,” Sheridan shared with the outlet. “We also wanted all of our East Coast family to visit and explore the place where we’ve built our life together in Southern California.”
The ceremony brought together 150 guests, including several familiar faces from “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Despite the guest list, the couple aimed to keep the atmosphere intimate and intentional.
Originally envisioning different wedding styles—Norris leaning toward a large event and Sheridan preferring an elopement—they ultimately found a balance.
“As planning went on, we started to love the idea of having a day dedicated to us and our love story, and we realized there was no better excuse to bring our bi-coastal families together for one unforgettable celebration,” Sheridan explained.
The venue’s natural charm helped set the tone. With what they described as a “flirty, enchanted feel,” the couple opted for minimal décor, instead focusing on thoughtful details like garden games and a vintage-style phone booth where guests could leave heartfelt messages.
The Two Had a Traditional Wedding
Their ceremony was both traditional and deeply personal.
Guests were asked to remain present during the moment with a cellphone-free experience, and Sheridan walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of “Bless the Broken Road”—a song that holds special meaning for the couple.
“This song spoke to both of us when we first met. We both had both gone through our fair share of heartbreaks, loss, and every single one of them felt worth it once we found each other,” she said.
The couple chose to see each other for the first time during the processional, adding to the emotional weight of the moment. “That build-up to the moment is something we’ll never forget,” Sheridan added.
When it came to their vows, Norris didn’t hold back.
“I admire her drive in everything she does, she gives 100% to every aspect in life,” he said. “I admire the love she gives… I admire her kindness… I admire her heart.” He continued, “I’ve come to love everything about Lyss and she’s my other half… I can’t wait to do the rest of my life with her.”
Sheridan echoed the sentiment. “Tyler is my best friend and my person,” she said. “He makes me feel beautiful every day and always makes me laugh… he’s perfectly himself, and I just adore him.”
From a flirty Instagram message to a lifelong commitment, their journey proves that sometimes, the best love stories begin when you least expect them.
