Country superstar Morgan Wallen is unstoppable right now on his “I’m the Problem” Tour.
And one fellow artist says he’s taking her along for the ride!
Country hitmaker Miranda Lambert says opening for the former Voice contestant on his tour has re-inspired her passion for her own career.
During an interview on SiriusXM morning showย “Highway Mornings with Cody Alan,”ย Miranda revealed that even though she’s been in the country music business for years, she’s still taking lessons this summer from Morgan Wallen.
โIโm learning a lot, honestly. I feel like Iโm learning about his fan base. Itโs kind of people from all walks of life. Itโs not necessarily a bunch of country fans, is what Iโm seeing from the stage. Iโm watching, thereโs a certain age group in the middle that may not be as familiar with me. Because Iโve been around forever, but then I see people that are in their 30s and 40s bringing their kids, and they know the songs. So itโs interesting to watch,โ she told Alan.
And the more she watches Morgan, the more Miranda wants to up her game to match his energy and passion on the stage.
โI watch his show every night and itโs a great show. Morgan is a superstar. Heโs sweet and kind and has been great to us. And just watching the passion and joy that he exudes on stage, it re-inspires me. I love how the fans are just so in it. And they sing every word to the record that just came out,” Miranda said.
Miranda Lambert Wants to Make New Music
At a recent tour stop, Miranda Lambert joined Wallen to sing a duet of his hit, โCowgirls.โ
Aย fan captured the song and posted it on TikTok.ย
While Miranda is opening for Morgan Wallen at a number of his tour stops, joining him for the headlining show was a surprise to fans.
The song choice was also a shocker. The duo could have sung Morgan Wallen and Miranda Lambertโs duet, โThought You Should Know,โ which they wrote together.
But while singing with Morgan Wallen is fun, watching him perform is what has Miranda Lambert itching to get back in the studio to make new music.
“It gives you life as an artist to know that people are diving right into your new music and wanting to sing it and wanting to be there and show up. I love watching it. Iโve been watching from the front where I can really see the show,โ she said on Sirius XM.
