Reflecting on a Nearly 100-Pound Weight Loss Journey
GettyJennings shared in August that she had lost nearly 100 pounds over two years, opening up about the milestone with gratitude and pride.
“I’m so proud of my progress and want to thank my family, friends, and all who supported me in getting there! Good health is not a certificate you display; it is a constant effort! I still have room for improvement, but I am more motivated and inspired than I’ve been in years. Let’s keep it going,” she wrote at the time.
She paired the message with a side-by-side video showing her running and holding a wall sit two years earlier compared with the present day. Text across the clip read, “I’m proud of my progress towards better health, but I’m still running towards more goals!”
Opening Up About Past Struggles With Health
Jennings has been candid about her earlier challenges. In June 2021, she shared that she struggled with binge eating and weight gain.
“As many of you have noticed, over the past few years, I have gained a substantial amount of weight,” she wrote at the time.
“My binging, along with an increased appetite I experience from some of the meds I’m on, has caused me to gain almost 100 pounds in a little less than 2 years.”
She also explained her mindset shift toward healthier habits.
“I’m ready to change my ways; I’ve been saying I’m ready to turn over a new leaf, but I’m running out of trees now. I’m ready to take the initiative and create positive changes when it comes to my health and body,” she wrote.
“I have a fabulous team supporting me, both professionals and family/friends, but at the end of the day, I have to be the one committed toward bettering myself. I know I have the power in me to lose the weight.”
Celebrating Academic Success Alongside Personal Growth
Jennings’ Vegas trip followed another major milestone. On December 3, she revealed that she had completed her final exam as “a Harvard student.”
“Picture taken in mad scientist mode,” she captioned a smiling photo of herself.
Fans flooded the comments with praise and encouragement. “Congratulations, and u always looked like a princess,” one follower wrote.
Another added, “Jazz, all of your internet aunties are SO! PROUD! Of you!!! Enjoy your break!!! ❤️❤️❤️.”
As Jennings continues to share her journey, her recent posts reflect a mix of confidence, resilience, and gratitude for the growth she has achieved both physically and personally.
