For the second year in a row, The CW shockingly dropped the broadcast of the Miss Teen USA pageant. The Miss USA competition was also pulled from the airwaves, just one week before they were supposed to air, and it’s led to many people scrambling for options.
The announcement from The CW came last week, but the pageants are set to air on Aug. 26 and Aug. 27, with Miss Teen USA airing first. That means it’s crunch time to find a place to watch it, and the good news is that there are options.
Where To Stream Miss Teen USA
GettyThe Miss Teen USA 2026 pageant will air on Aug. 26, 2026, and the Queen Beauty Network stepped in to ensure that the competition would be broadcast. That was the network that stepped in to save the day in 2025, and it will also step in to save Miss USA tomorrow.
It will mean a subscription is needed, but there is some excellent news about this. After the free trial, it costs $7.99 per month or $72.99 per year.

Why Did The CW Drop Miss USA 2026?
GettyIt’s not fully clear why the Nexstar-owned network opted to drop the pageant for the second year in a row. In an Instagram Story, Miss USA announced that the network wouldn’t air its broadcast due to “a contractual issue that could not be resolved within the necessary timeframe.” That led to the team looking around for another home with just days available.
When Entertainment Weekly reached out to The CW for a statement, the network didn’t go into too many extra details. All that was known was that there were “conversations” with the organization, and in the end, The CW decided to not air the competition.
This came after a multiyear deal was announced in 2024 after The CW aired the broadcast in 2023. When 2025 rolled around and The CW stepped back, the Queen Beauty Network stepped in, meaning that it was the first time in 60 years that Miss USA hadn’t aired on live television.
Miss Teen USA started in 1983, and it has continued every year since. 2026’s final will feature the coronation ceremony, with reigning Miss Teen USA Mailyn Marsh in attendance.
