The mini “Full House” reunion was filled with love and laughter, just the way the late comedian would have wanted. Bure, Loughlin, and Rizzo were among several guests at the low-key event that honored Saget’s seven decade birthday.
Bure wrote, “Celebrated Bob’s 70th birthday last night . We miss you every day. You’re still making us laugh. Go tell someone you love them and give them a big hug today.”
Fans responded to the photos, which included the women posing together for a selfie. Additionally, she shared two images of a chocolate cake, which was inscribed “Happy Birthday Bob.”
“Awh this made me cry,” wrote one follower. A second penned, “America’s dad. Bob was special to so many of us that grew up in the 90s!! Love that the FH family continues to celebrate him!”
A third Instagram fan noted, “Oh Bob. Happy birthday, the whole world misses you.” “Always in our hearts,” wrote a fourth social media follower.
Candace Cameron Bure Continues to Remember Bob Saget’s Influence and Friendship
To commemorate Bob Saget on the fourth anniversary of his passing, Candace Cameron Bure shared a series of images to Instagram on January 9, 2026.
“I miss you. Not just today, but every day,” Bure wrote.
She posted a slideshow of images that showed the duo, who played Danny and DJ Tanner on the ABC series, smiling on-set. There were also photos from the Netflix reboot “Fuller House” and several personal images of the twosome.
Saget and Bure appeared on the Friday night comedy staple from 1987 through 1995. Co-starring with them on the series were John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin.
Many of the cast members reprised their roles on “Fuller House,” which ran from 2016 through 2020.
Upon Saget’s passing, Bure posted the following social media message.
“Oh, Bob. Why’d you have to leave us so soon? We are all family, but you were the glue. The sticky, messy, squishy, sweet, lovable glue,” she began.
“My childhood is wrapped up in you, my formative teenaged years and the rest of adulthood. You taught me to feel deeply at such a young age. You were never afraid or ashamed to share your emotions, to cry, to love, to laugh and say it out loud. We’ve always been so deeply connected since the day we met when I was 10 years old. You weren’t just like a father, but one of my closest friends in life.”
“I want one more hug, I want one more text that says, “Oh, btw, it’s me, Bob” after a long rant. I want one more laugh and I want to roll my eyes at you one more time. You’ve certainly left a beautiful legacy in kindness, compassion, loyalty, generosity, and love.”
