Do 90s TV stars still live in their 90s-era homes? HGTV is about to find out, as it sends designer and DIY expert MaCenna Lee into the real-life celebrity homes of 90s icons, many of whom are set to compete on the network’s new show, “Totally 90s House.”
While the stars put their design skills to the test, transforming a 90s-era house into a modern oasis, Lee will make house visits to each star’s home in a new YouTube series called “Celebrity Style,” HGTV announced on August 20, 2026. And not only will fans get a peek inside, but Lee will help each star transform one of their own spaces.
90s Stars Will Makeover a Room in Their Own Homes for New HGTV YouTube Series
In a social media video introducing the new series, Lee introduced herself as “your DIY bestie” while cameras followed her to each star’s home.
“We’re visiting sitcom legends and teen drama stars,” she said of the celebs she’ll be visiting, some of whom are part of HGTV’s new “Totally 90s House,” set to premiere on August 26. “We’re dropping by to see their homes and their personal style.”
That series is hosted by “Family Matters” alum Jaleel White and features two teams of fellow 90s stars. “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum Brian Austin Green, “7th Heaven” star Beverley Mitchell, and former “Full House” child star Jodie Sweetin are on one team, while the other team consists of “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” and “Clarissa Explains It All” star Melissa Joan Hart, “Boy Meets World” actor Matthew Lawrence, and “The Cosby Show” alum Keisha Knight Pulliam.
But the preview of Lee’s new YouTube series showed she’s also stopping by the homes of other 90s celebs, including “Smart Guy” and “Baby Daddy” alum Tahj Mowry and Andrew Keegan of shows including “7th Heaven” and “Thunder Alley.”
As clips of Lee revealed her showing up at the stars’ homes, she said, “And you know if I’m coming over, there’s no way we’re not doing a DIY project.”
She then teased that she’ll team up with each celebrity to conduct “affordable” and “totally weekend worthy” makeovers in their houses. Footage showed her choosing lamps with Mitchell, revamping Sweetin’s family room, and landscaping with Green.
Fans of 90s Stars & MaCenna are Thrilled About the HGTV Collaboration
Calling it the “DIY series of your teenage dreams,” Lee encouraged fans to watch for a new episode of “Celebrity Style: 90s Edition” to drop on HGTV’s YouTube page each Saturday.
Fans were freaking out in the comment section, filling it with 90s sitcom phrases like “Exxxxccccuuuussseeee meeeeee?!!! 👀🔍😍” and many who quipped, “I beg your pardon, is that Andrew Keegan?!”
Many people expressed how excited they were for Lee, who’s developed a huge online following, including nearly a million YouTube followers. In the above vlog she released on August 20, Lee excitedly revealed that her life has been a “whirlwind” filming her secret project with HGTV.
She explained, “I literally designed, executed, transformed six makeovers — each in a day — without seeing the space in person beforehand. I did see one because I was like, ‘There is no way I can do this without seeing it.'”
