Maisie Williams Draws Inspiration From Sandra Bullock While Promoting ‘Practical Magic 2’
“Practical Magic 2” takes place 25 years after this first movie. Sally’s daughters, Kylie (Joey King) and Antonia (Maisie Williams), are adults now and Kylie is starting to explore the family’s secrets. The family will travel to the UK as they confront their family’s curse and rush to save the next generation.
As fans eagerly anticipate the sequel’s theatrical release, the cast is excitedly promoting the film. In a new social media update, Sandra Bullock revealed that Maisie Williams has been rocking plenty of her old dresses from the ’90s.
“My Antonia girl, you can raid Mama’s closet anytime ♥️,” Bullock captioned the new Instagram post. “@dinobonacic you did a beautiful job bringing all of these looks back to life”

In the first attached clip, the actress beams and points at Maisie Williams. Williams looks absolutely stunning in one of Sandra Bullock’s formal black dresses, and the 62-year-old couldn’t be prouder.
Bullock went on to attach several side by side images of herself and Williams wearing the same dresses, decades apart. Fans went wild for the post, expressing excitement over the new film.

The ‘Practical Magic 2’ Cast Developed a Unique Bond
“Practical Magic” absolutely captivated audiences back in 1998. After all this time, the stars are delighted to bring magic back to the theaters just in time for fall.
Nicole Kidman confirmed that she and Sandra Bullock would return as the Owens sisters back in 2024. A sequel would be difficult to make without them on board.
“Yes I will be in it. And Sandy will be in it. And that’s that,” Kidman told PEOPLE at the time. “There’s a lot more to tell which is why we go, ‘OK, this is kind of interesting now to be able to do this.'”
After filming wrapped, the actress gushed over the cast and described how “safe” the other women made her feel.
“Sandy Bullock and I, and then Joey King and Maisie [Williams]—we had an incredible cast,” Kidman told Ariana Grande for Interview Magazine. “I have such a strong relationship with all those women, so I felt protected and loved. It was just very, very safe.”
“Practical Magic 2” comes to theaters on Friday, September 11.
