“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, August 25, reveal Victor Newman turns the tables on Cane Ashby. Meanwhile, Nick Newman and Adam Newman put their differences aside to help their family. Plus, Lily Winters interrogates Holden Novak.
‘The Young & the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Makes a Move
CBSOn Monday, Victor rehashes his last offer to Cane about going after Jabot. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say The Mustache isn’t taking no for an answer and is ready to play dirty.
Victor suggests it would be good for Cane if they became allies. He then hands him an envelope containing supposed evidence of Cane’s “dirty money.”
Spoilers say Victor has proof that Cane’s fortune came from Colin’s last great swindle of an elderly woman. Somehow, Victor obtains a will leaving the woman’s estate to Colin’s final alias.
Cane insists he doesn’t know anything about it. “You can’t prove you weren’t part of the plan, you were the one who would benefit the most,” Victor taunts. “In other words, dirty money, dirty empire.”
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Victor extorts Cane and forces an alliance.
“I want you to join me as an ally against Jack Abbott and Jabot, if not the content of this letter will go to the press,” Victor adds. “You’ll be run out of town, for good.”
“Seems like I don’t have much of a choice,” Cane responds.
Brothers Unite
CBSMeanwhile, Nick and Adam set aside their issues to help protect their family. Adam isn’t too sure about Victor’s plan and is worried that his father is making a wrong move. He asks Nick to team up to talk Victor out of it.
However, Nick tells Adam to trust their father. He says they found information that they could use against Cane.
Nick believes Victor’s plan could work. He even wants to deal with Cane himself, which surprises Adam. In the end, the brothers agree to unite and protect their family at all costs.
Lily Confronts Holden
CBSAlso on Monday, Lily runs into Holden at the park. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say he tells her he took Damian’s old job and that he’ll be based in Genoa City.
Lily tells Holden that he’s going to regret working for Cane. She adds that she’s doing him a favor by warning him about her ex-husband.
“Why would you care?” Holden asks. Lily says she wants to know what Cane is up to. However, Holden insists he has no idea. “I find that hard to believe,” Lily replies.
