Garcelle Beauvais Dishes About Her Post ‘Housewives’ Life at the Emmys

Garcelle Beauvais announced in March 2025 that she was leaving “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Since then, the show has been filming for season 15, and she seems to be living her best life. Recently, she opened up about stepping away from the show at the 2025 Emmy Awards. 

While on the red carpet at the 2025 Emmy Awards, Beauvais was asked about the recent happenings in her life since not filming the show.

She said, “I am thriving. It’s been really, really fun to just work on projects that I want to work on.” Beauvais continued, “I’m developing shows. I’m starring in shows, and it’s just been really fantastic.”

The interviewer then noted that the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star gets to spend more time with her kids. She echoed this and then lamented that they are both driving now.

When asked if she misses the Bravo cameras, the actress said, “No, not really.”

Beauvais Has Been Out and About Since Leaving ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’

The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star stunned at the 2025 Emmy Awards in an all-black dress, which included a classy train. She looked truly carefree as she posed for photos on the red carpet and spoke to the press.

Of course, the 2025 Emmy Awards ceremony wasn’t the only time fans have seen Garcelle out and about. She also attended the premiere for Denzel Washington’s latest film, “Highest 2 Lowest,” in August. Spike Lee directed the film, marking his fifth with Washington.

At that time, the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star wore a brown-colored pantsuit, complemented by her long, flowing hair.


She Has Upcoming Movies

As Beauvais stated in her interview at the 2025 Emmy Awards, she’s pretty busy in her career. Accrding to Deadline, the actress has extended her partnership with the Lifetime network to produce and star in new films.

One of her upcoming movies for the network is “Taken at a Truck Stop: A Black Girl Missing Movie.” This one serves as a continuation of her “Black Girl Missing” franchise. The other film is “Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted 2 Love.” It’s unclear when either of the two movies will premiere.
