It was the perfect choice for an event featuring the Gothic romance film.
Hough shared an Instagram post about her look with a collection of sultry and stylish pics — as well as shots of her getting prepped for the event — writing, “A little drama for The Bride! premiere 🖤”

Julianne Talked About Working with Maggie & Jake Gyllenhaal on ‘The Bride!’
Getty“Julianne Hough certainly feels alive on the big screen,” according to E! News. “Eight years after her last starring film role, the Dancing With the Stars host is ready to make her return to movie acting with Maggie Gyllenhaal’s upcoming film The Bride!, a reimagining of Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel Frankenstein and the 1935 film The Bride of Frankenstein. And for Julianne, having the chance to join the cast was a thrill.”
During the world premiere of “The Bride!” that took place in London, Hough talked to Deadline about the film, saying, “It was amazing. I honestly couldn’t imagine a different project.”
“This was truly iconic in so many ways,” she added. “And the fact that I got to be a part of Maggie’s vision—this message of feminism through empowerment and rock and roll punk. I just think it’s so incredible, and she’s just such an amazing director.”
She also spoke about working with Jake Gyllenhaal, who is in the movie, telling Deadline, “Jake is amazing, and just such a professional. He’s obviously been doing this forever, and just the humility and excitement that he had to come into the studio and we worked together, and it was so much fun.”
