Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson just won over fans with their adorable date night activity. The former HGTV “Married to Real Estate” stars suited up for a fun skate night — with Egypt revealing it’s been 20 years since she last skated.
Egypt Sherrod & Mike Jackson Hit the Roller Skating Rink
On April 16, Sherrod took to Instagram to share some highlights from a date night with her husband.
“Date night! 🛼🛼🛼🛼” she wrote in the caption.
Sherrod continued, “We don’t stay in step because life is smooth, we stay because God is faithful and our union is worth fighting for. Every glide is a choice, every turn back is a reminder that we can’t skate away when it’s hard.”
“And when we stumble we don’t quit, we lean in, steady each other and continue,” she noted.
The former HGTV star added, “Love isn’t just felt, it’s fought for. And in Him, we always find our way back to each other. 🩷”
She also shared that the date night activity wasn’t without a little bit of pain. “P.S. yes our ankles hurt the next day 😝,” Sherrod wrote.
In the video, the two laced up their skates while sharing a kiss. Sherrod confessed, “I have not roller skated in over 20 years! I feel like I’m just learning how to drive.”
Despite her worries, Sherrod seemed to pick right back up with her skating skills, with video showing her and Jackson gliding effortlessly along.
At one point her husband stumbled backwards, falling to the ground, but did it with a smile!
They finished off the date with ICEE frozen drinks and a sweet kiss.

Sherrod noted that it was Mike’s idea to film that cute bit.
