The Iconic The Brady Bunch House Is Finally Opening Its Doors — Here’s How to Get Inside

“The Brady Bunch” house is opening its doors to fans for a once-in-a-lifetime tour inside the iconic mid-century modern home!

‘The Brady Bunch’ House Tour

The home, which is located in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles, will offer fans an immersive experience inside the beloved estate.

“This home has always represented something bigger than just a television set—it’s a place that holds decades of memories for so many people,” Tina Trahan, who purchased the home in 2023, said in a statement, per People.

She added, “Opening it up to fans in a thoughtful way, while also supporting a meaningful charitable cause, makes this experience even more special. It’s about sharing that joy and nostalgia while giving back in a way that truly matters.”

Launching in May, the limited-time experience will benefit “Wags and Walks,” a nonprofit dog rescue “dedicated to saving at-risk dogs and helping them find loving homes.” Fans are encouraged to join the waitlist.

Guests on the semi-private guided tour will “snap photos in the instantly recognizable living room,” “step into the kids’ shared spaces,” pose as their favorite character, and recreate iconic scenes.

“From the moment I first stepped inside, it was clear this was something truly special,” Derek Berry, President of Experiences at Bucket Listers, the company hosting the experience, said in a statement. “There’s an incredible sense of nostalgia and care that brings the iconic home back to life. I immediately knew this had to be part of the Los Angeles Bucket List—an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience that people from all over can enjoy while supporting a worthy cause.”

‘The Brady Bunch’ House Granted Historic Status

In March, the Los Angeles City Council declared the iconic abode an official cultural monument. The status means the house is protected from demolition.

“Long before it became a pop‑culture pilgrimage site and backdrop for countless photo ops, the ‘Brady Bunch’ House helped shape America’s vision of family life in the late 1960s and early ’70s — especially the idea of a blended family,” Adrian Scott, president of the L.A. Conservancy, told the Los Angeles Times. “We’re thrilled to see it now designated as a Historic-Cultural Monument, ensuring the ‘Brady Bunch’ — and their iconic home — remain part of Los Angeles’ story.”

Although the home was never actually used to film the beloved sitcom, the estate’s exterior was used to set scene locations.

In 2018, HGTV purchased the home for $3.5 million after winning a bidding war, which included beating ‘NSync’s Lance Bass.

The home received an HGTV renovation, which was featured on the limited series “A Very Brady Renovation.” “Property Brothers” Drew and Jonathan Scott hosted the renovation series, which featured Mina Starsiak Hawk and Karen E Laine of “Good Bones,” Leanne and Steve Ford of “Restored by the Fords,” Jasmine Roth of “Hidden Potential,” and Lara Spencer of “Flea Market Flip.”

After the series wrapped, the network sold the home to a private owner, Tina Trahan, for $3.2 million in 2023, according to the Wall Street Journal.
