‘Big Brother’ Steamiest Showmances

For over two decades, “Big Brother” has been giving fans blindsides, backdoors, and some bitter jury speeches. Besides all of that, we have also seen romance take center stage. I mean, when you lock a group of attractive, competitive strangers inside a house with cameras rolling 24/7, you are bound to get some sparks now and then, right?

We have seen the gamut with these showmances on “Big Brother.” Some have fizzled out after the finale night. Meanwhile, others have turned into marriages and babies. We are taking a look at some of the steamiest and most talked-about showmances in “Big Brother” history.

1. Jeff Schroeder & Jordan Lloyd

Each season, viewers vote for “America’s Favorite Player.” If a vote were held for “America’s Favorite Showmance,” it would definitely be Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd.

The couple met during season 11, and then continued their romance when they returned for season 13. Jeff had a laid-back charm, which happened to pair nicely with Jordan’s sweet Southern personality.

Over the years, players have questioned whether or not showmances are smart for gameplay. However, Jeff and Jordan leaned into it. They had an undeniable chemistry that became the talk of the “Big Brother” universe.

The couple kept it going, as they would later return to the “Big Brother” house for Jeff to propose to Jordan. They have since gotten married and started a family, easily becoming one of the most iconic love stories of the show.

2. Brendon Villegas & Rachel Reilly

If Jeff and Jordan were sweet, then Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly were the spicy side of things. This couple met during season 12 of “Big Brother,” and their connection was immediate and intense.

Rachel had a bold personality, and Brendon had devotion, which made them inseparable. They had emotional moments, dramatic fights, and tearful goodbyes. All of this made for some memorable scenes for “Big Brother” fans.

Despite the ups and downs they shared, their love has endured beyond the house. The pair got married, had two kids together, and even went on to compete together on “The Amazing Race.”

3. Cody Nickson & Jessica Graf

During season 19 of “Big Brother,” we got a chance to meet Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf. They had an instant connection.

The cameras would catch them stealing kisses, but also plotting strategy together. The duo quickly became a united front.

While their bond made their targets, it also made them fan favorites. Even after they were both evicted from the house, their showmance continued off-screen.

The couple would later go on to compete (and win) “The Amazing Race.” They would eventually get married and start a huge family together, as the happy couple welcomed baby number five in October 2025!

4. Tyler Crispen & Angela Rummans

It wasn’t that instant connection for Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans during season 20. Their showmance developed more slowly during the season.

They were strategic partners. However, that connection grew into something deeper. They started making quiet glances. The flirting increased, and those late-night conversations in the hammock had the live-feed viewers buzzing.

While some showmances let that romance derail their games, Tyler and Angela were able to keep a balance between affection and competition.

They continued their relationship outside of the house for a while. However, they announced in 2022 that they were splitting after four years together.

Showmances can be risky. However, these couples made it work inside and outside of the “Big Brother” house. Who had your favorite showmance on “Big Brother” over the years?
