Bravo fans have followed Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s relationship since the early days of ‘Summer House.’ After meeting in 2015 and sharing nearly a decade of their romance on reality television, the couple announced their breakup in January 2026.
Here is a complete timeline of Batula and Cooke’s relationship.
How Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke Met on ‘Summer House’
Cooke met Batula during the summer of 2015 before season one of “Summer House” premiered. Cooke joined the show first and Batula appeared as a guest during several season one episodes before officially joining the cast in season two.
During the season one finale, Cooke reflected on the summer and his feelings about commitment. “It was all about figuring out if I was ready for a relationship,” he said. “I spent the first half hooking up with my ex-girlfriend, which was confusing, and I spent the second half hooking up with other girls, which actually kind of helped because I think I finally figured it out.”
Cooke later came clean to Batula about his behavior. Despite her anger, she chose to continue the relationship. “I don’t know what the future holds,” Batula said in a confessional. “I love him.”
Engagement, Cheating Scandal, and Wedding
In April 2018, Batula told The Daily Dish that their relationship had grown stronger. “We’re still living in our own apartments,” she said. “There’s more conversations about marriage and moving in.”
Later that year, Cooke admitted he had been unfaithful during a guys’ trip. “I blacked out, and I woke up with a girl in my bed. I’ve never felt worse in my entire life,” he said during season three.
Batula decided to move forward. “I have the ring, I know that he loves me,” she said in March 2019.
The couple married in September 2021 in Batula’s parents’ backyard in Hillsborough, New Jersey, after postponing their wedding due to COVID.
Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke Address Split Rumors and Marriage Struggles
In March 2023, Batula addressed a DeuxMoi cheating rumor on ‘Watch What Happens Live.’ “I laughed at it,” she said, adding that the timing felt convenient.
Throughout season 8 of “Summer House,” viewers saw tension surrounding Batula stepping back from her role at Loverboy.
She later told Us Weekly she took a “slight step back” “for the sake of our relationship.”
In October 2024, Batula told Entertainment Tonight, “Nothing’s new. I feel like everyone would know if something truly was going on.” In February 2025, she told E! News, “I’m not pregnant, we’re not getting divorced.”
Cooke added, “We’re a pretty open book, and we are by no means perfect.”
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula Finally Confirm Breakup
In late 2025, Page Six reported that the couple was “going through a difficult time” have been living separately. Around the same time, the season 10 trailer for “Summer House” showed Cooke staying out late.
He addressed the situation in a statement to People, saying, “There’s no excuse for staying out as late as I did, but I want to be clear that I did not sleep at a fan’s apartment. I was at an event that Amanda chose not to attend, which moved to a bar and then to an after-party. I don’t use anything to keep myself wired, so I think I ended up falling asleep on a couch, and suddenly it was almost 6 a.m. Do I regret the situation? Absolutely. But that’s the truth and full extent of what happened.”
In January 2026, Batula and Cooke released a joint statement on Instagram confirming their split. “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” they wrote. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
Fans can watch the palpable tension unfold in season 10 of “Summer House,” which airs Tuesdays.
