“Summer House” stars Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke announced on Jan. 19 that they are separating after four years of marriage. In a joint Instagram statement, the former Bravo couple described their split as a mutual and amicable decision.
The former couple’s “Summer House” co-stars have not publicly commented on the breakup, though eagle-eyed fans noticed Paige DeSorbo liked a particularly telling Instagram post.
Paige DeSorbo Reacts to Amanda Batula & Kyle Cooke Split by Liking an Instagram Post
Paige DeSorbo is no longer ‘bed rotting’ with her “Summer House” co-stars after announcing her departure from the series following season 9. However, she still maintains close bonds with her co-stars, especially Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller.
After Batula and Kyle Cooke announced their split, fans noticed that DeSorbo liked an Instagram post about the breakup.
The post was shared by @queensofbravo via @JaxBlocked and featured a photo of DeSorbo, Batula, and former “Summer House” star Hannah Berner gossiping during an episode of the show. It read, “Now that Kyle is out of the picture, I feel like we can get this friendship back.”
Fans quickly commented on the post, sharing thier own thoughts on the women potentially reuniting.
“My first thought was about Amanda & Hannah reuniting 😭😭,” a fan shared. “Paige liked it! It’s happening,” another read. “Bring the band back together!”
What Happened Between Batula & Hannah Berner?
GettyDeSorbo and Berner both joined “Summer House” in season 3 and quickly became inseparable, often alongside Batula. However, by season 5, their friendship dynamic shifted when Berner began having issues with Cooke, which put a strain on their bond. Berner ultimately left the show after season 5 concluded.
Although Batula has remained extremely close to DeSorbo, she shared that out of respect to Berner, she did not attend any of the ladies’ “Giggly Squad” tours.
“I don’t [go] out of respect because we haven’t made amends, so I’m trying to respect this is her — [Hannah’s] 50/50 in this too,” she told Andy Cohen during a March 2025 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”
Batula also shared a rather pessimistic outlook on the possibility of repairing their friendship.
“I don’t know if we’ll get to that point, but we all pray. I’m open to it, but also she’s living her life, she’s doing her thing, this whole thing is a thing of her past. I respect whatever decision she makes,” she added.
When Cohen shared, “Well, you guys were real friends outside the house,” Batula replied, “Yeah.”
Fans will get to see Cooke and Batula’s marriage unfold on the new season of “Summer House,” which premieres on February 3 on Bravo.
