“Summer House” alum Paige DeSorbo is offering a rare look into her relationship with boyfriend Joe D’Amelio — including how he fits into her dynamic with best friend and co-host Hannah Berner. During the Friday, January 9 episode of the “Giggly Squad” podcast, DeSorbo opened up about a recent double-hang with Berner’s husband, Des Bishop, and explained why spending time with the duo isn’t exactly relaxing for their partners.

DeSorbo began the podcast episode by teasing that Berner had “a lot of notes” after the two spent time together off-camera the day before. Berner hinted that their significant others were also part of the hangout, which quickly became its own mini “Giggly Squad” performance.
“Hanging out with us is not fun because we will bring something up, start laughing and then one of us goes, ‘Hold it, save it for the camera,’” Berner joked. “So, then Des is sitting there, like, ‘Uh.’”
DeSorbo agreed and said it’s hard for outsiders to keep up when she and Berner get into their rhythm.
“In general, it’s not,” DeSorbo said. “Des was around, Joe was around and they were just, like, not speaking. I was, like, ‘I’m performing with my friend right now.’”
The comments offered fans a glimpse into DeSorbo’s relationship with D’Amelio, who has largely stayed out of the spotlight since the two were first linked.

DeSorbo and D’Amelio have remained relatively private since rumors first surfaced in early 2025. Us Weekly reported that it exclusively confirmed their relationship in July 2025, noting at the time that the romance had been quietly building.
“Paige has been quietly dating Joe D’Amelio for a while now, and things between them are going really well,” a source told Us. “It took a few months for Paige to warm up to being in another relationship again, but she moved on after Craig and is genuinely happy.”
DeSorbo previously dated “Southern Charm” star Craig Conover for three years, from 2021 to 2024.
“She’s in a totally different headspace now,” the source added. “Joe is a breath of fresh air for her. He’s calm, grounded and much more low-key, which is exactly what Paige needed.”
Beyond the podcast, fans have continued tracking the couple’s occasional public sightings. DeuxMoi has posted about spotting the pair in Capri, and Bravo and Cocktails has also shared sightings — including a reported appearance at an Eagles playoff game earlier this year.
D’Amelio is the senior vice president at football marketing company Klutch Sports Group, which is owned by Rich Paul, who is engaged to Adele.
