Ariana Madix’s career has only continued to skyrocket since Scandoval. The scandal erupted in March 2023, when her longtime boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, was exposed for having an affair with Rachel (Raquel) Leviss, which all played out on season 11 of Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules.”
Madix has since been on Broadway, joined “Dancing With the Stars,” and hosted “Love Island.” Most recently, Madix added actress to her ever-growing resume after making her debut on “St. Denis Medical.” So, what’s next for this multi-talented star?
Ariana Madix Gives a Career Update for the New Year
GettyAriana Madix is hopefully looking forward to yet another busy year. The former reality TV star attended the Golden Globes’ Nominees Night party on Jan. 8, where she told E! News about her exciting plans for 2026.
“More hosting, more acting,” Madix shared. “I want to get back on stage, and honestly, I just want to keep traveling the world with my love,” she added, mentioning her boyfriend, Daniel Wai.
When asked what genre Madix sees herself in when it comes to acting, she quickly shared, “Comedy.” Of course, Madix has already been making waves as cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Emerson on the feel-good comedy “St. Denis Medical.” What was supposed to be a guest appearance in season 2 turned into her returning for a couple of more episodes.
The show’s creator, Eric Ledgin, praised Madix’s acting abilities, even hinting that fans will see more of her on the show.
“Ariana’s just a pro. She is an actor who happens to also be successful as a host,” Ledgin told The Wrap. “She’s fantastic and she’s coming back for a couple more this season past that first one. I might not be allowed to tell you that, but I just did.”
Madix Has Given Whitney Leavitt Much-Needed Advice for Her Broadway Debut
GettyAfter “Vanderpump Rules” season 11 concluded, Madix landed a career-defining opportunity when she was cast as Roxie Hart in Broadway’s “Chicago.” The role has previously been played be fellow reality stars Erika Jayne and Lisa Rinna, and next, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Whitney Leavitt is set to make her Roxie debut.
Levitt spoke to DeuxMoi where she revealed that the person she reaches out to the most about the role is none other than Madix.
“She’s been like my number one person that I’ve gone to for any advice,” she shared, adding, “I’m probably driving her nuts, but she responds every single time.”
Leavitt is certainly asking the right person for advice. Madix made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in January 2024 for a run through April, and due to overwhelming demand, she returned to the role from August to September 2024.
In an interview with New York Theatre Guide, Madix shared, “Every personal move and career move has all led to this. [Broadway] was always and forever what I wanted to do.”
