More than three years after Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval’s split became one of the biggest stories in reality television, it sounds like one of the final loose ends from their relationship may finally be nearing resolution.
During a recent appearance on the podcast “Disrespectfully,” hosted by Katie Maloney and Dayna Kathan, Ariana shared an update on the sale of the Los Angeles home she once shared with Sandoval — while also shutting down rumors that have continued circulating online.
“I feel like there’s maybe a couple more Docusign’s for me somewhere in my email. I’m sure that will keep coming up so I don’t wanna, like, jinx anything, but I’m pretty sure it’s close,” Ariana said.
Katie chimed in, noting how nice it must feel to finally have the situation nearly behind her after such a long process.
The three women all previously appeared together on “Vanderpump Rules,” with Ariana and Katie serving as longtime cast members and Dayna joining the Bravo series during Season 8. Ariana and Katie also co-own the LA sandwich shop Something About Her.
Ariana Says She’s Ready to ‘Close That Chapter’
Ariana explained that one of her biggest priorities was being able to move forward financially once the sale is complete.
“Yeah, I wanted to get my money out of it so I could invest that money somewhere else,” she said. “And I think that was really the last thing, because, I mean, as far as the house itself, it was kind of out of sight out of mind. It is kind of just one of those things where you’re like, oh yeah I gotta take care of that. Or, oh yeah, this still is going on.”
Katie then smiled and calmly responded, “Close that chapter.”
The house became one of the most talked-about parts of Ariana and Sandoval’s breakup following the cheating scandal that rocked “Vanderpump Rules” in 2023. Even after Ariana moved on personally and professionally — including hosting Love Island USA and competing on Dancing With the Stars — fans continued speculating about what would happen with the property the former couple purchased together during their relationship.
Ariana Responds to Online Rumors About the Sale
Toward the end of the conversation, Ariana also directly addressed several assumptions she said she frequently sees online regarding the house and Sandoval’s finances.
“I see people online who think that, like, I’m not getting any money from the sale. Yes, I am,” Ariana said. “Or that I had to pay his (Sandoval’s) HELOC loan. No I don’t. Never did. Just like I said.”
A HELOC, or home equity line of credit, allows homeowners to borrow against the equity built up in their property. Since Ariana and Sandoval’s split, fans have frequently debated online how financial responsibilities connected to the house may have been handled behind the scenes.
Since the breakup that reshaped “Vanderpump Rules,” the shared home has remained one of the last lingering ties between Ariana and Sandoval. Based on Ariana’s latest comments, though, it sounds like that chapter may finally be coming to an end.
