Kyle Cooke Clarifies ‘Summer House’ Episode Remark & Hope for Season 10 Reunion

Bravo star Kyle Cooke is setting the record straight on a comment he made after watching the latest episode of “Summer House” Season 10. Amid the fallout of the West Wilson and Amanda Batula dating scandal, the show hits differently and not just for fans. Cooke addressed that and clarified his thoughts on the episode at an event in New York City on Thursday.

Kyle Cooke Speaks His Mind

On the red carpet at the “A Love Letter to ’90s New York” party hosted by Page Six x Temple Bar, Cooke took the mic to shed light on a recent comment he made regarding “Summer House”.

“All right, so I was kind of off the cuff, just in my feels, and I just watched that episode, and I think there were just a lot of WTF moments. But I want to take the moment, since I’m here. I did not mean to perpetuate the theory that this is going on since last summer,” he shared, referring to Batula and Wilson’s relationship.

The Bravo personality spilled that he hopes his ex-wife will make that clear at the reunion. He went on to reiterate that his “WTF” remark was about the entire episode, saying, “I was just reacting to the episode as a whole. I can’t remember an episode where I jaw open on so many different occasions.”

Following the latest episode, Cooke took to social media to write “WTF,” which many believe was directed at an exchange between Batula and Wilson, hinting their fling may have been going on since last summer.

Cooke also addressed the elephant in the room: how fans and the cast are watching Season 10 through a different lens. The “Loverboy” founder hopes to be proven right at the “Summer House” reunion that Batula and Wilson were not hooking up while Season 10 was filming.

“It would be insanity, it would be diabolical behavior for them to behave in a, in like a flirty way if something was going on, right? Like, I think Wes gave this, oh, this is a safe zone. I’m just a friend. I don’t think those are his intentions, but I don’t. I hope that I’m proven correct at the reunion that this was recent, and that’s the only thing I want to just clear up about my thread post,” Cooke expressed, adding that he felt like he wasn’t making any sense as he tried to speak his truth.

Kyle Cooke’s Taking the High Road Amid ‘Summer House’ Scandal

Despite learning that his ex-wife and friend are now an item, Cooke has been pushing back on the hate toward them. Cooke has fiercely and passionately defended them on more than one occasion.

When he speaks out on the latest “Summer House” scandal, Cooke has tried to ensure positivity and has made it clear he’s not going to speak ill of Wilson or Batula.

Cooke has admitted the news was a lot for him to process, and he’s still doing so while also checking in on Ciara Miller, who was directly affected by Batula and Wilson’s dating news.

Even though he’s taking the high road, Cooke’s also gotten some shade in. Andy Cohen asked for “Summer House” reunion questions on social media, to which Cooke replied, “Are there any repercussions for lying on WWHL?’

The question refers to Wilson denying the Batula dating rumors weeks before they went public with the romance on “Watch What Happens Live.”

“Summer House” Season 10 reunion is slated to film next week, so it will be interesting to see if Cooke still takes the high road as the cast faces off with Batula and Wilson.
