Kyle Cooke is finally breaking his silence on the aftermath of the shocking revelation involving his ex, Amanda Batula, and co-star West Wilson.
Cooke revealed he found out about Batula and Wilson’s relationship “over the weekend” and received a heads-up just before they released their public statement on March 31.
He described the news as overwhelming and said it will “make me look at my summer through a different lens for sure.”
Cooke Revealed He Spoke With Ciera Miller
In an exclusive TikTok video with Adam Glyn on Wednesday, April 1, Cooke discussed his conversations with Ciara Miller, Wilson’s ex.
“I think she had more evidence at her disposal than I did,” Cooke said. “She was trying to, like, let me come to terms at my own speed. It’s just a lot to process.” He added, “I appreciate the people that are reaching out. Only it’s a lot for me to process.”
Cooke also commented on the public fallout, noting his surprise at how Wilson, 32, is gaining social media followers while Batula, 34, faces cyberbullying since confirming the relationship. “It blows my mind,” he said.
Batula and Wilson Released a Joint Statement
Batula and Wilson released a joint statement on Instagram after weeks of speculation, clarifying the situation.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,” they wrote. “Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
The couple explained that their connection grew from a longstanding friendship.
“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this,” the statement concluded.
For Cooke, the revelation has been emotionally challenging. “It’s just a lot to process,” he admitted. “Talking to Ciara, seeing how everyone’s reacting—it’s a mental mind [expletive].”
Despite the drama, he continues to approach the situation with thoughtfulness and reflection, navigating the complex relationships while coming to terms with the new reality of his ex’s romance.
