Meet the New Cast of ‘Next Gen NYC’ Season 2

Three new cast members are set to join Bravo’sThe Next Gen” when it returns on Wednesday, June 24.

Rowan Henchy, Liam Obergfoll, and Kendall White will be joining existing cast members Ariana Biermann, Riley Burruss, Emira D’Spain, Brooks Marks, Ava Dash, Gia Giudice, Georgia McCann, Charlie Zakkour, Shai Fruchter, and Hudson McLeroy on the reality show.

These three newcomers come with their own connections, ambitions and opinions. The show follows a group of rich Gen Zers, many of whom are nepo babies, trying to make it in New York City.

Bravo describes the second season of “Next Gen NYC” to Deadline as “anything but chill,” adding, “The pace is faster, the hustle is louder, and for this New York City crew, life in the city that never sleeps is a full-on reality check. From first real apartments and lingering scandals to messy breakups, shifting friendships and new romances, everyone’s trying to build a life that feels authentic – but also aesthetic.”

Here is everything you need to know about the three new cast members of “Next Gen NYC “…

What We Know About Liam Overgfoll

Liam Overgfoll is a lifetime New Yorker. You’ll regularly see him zipping around the city on his Triumph motorbike, avoiding the public transport system.

Liam is a working actor with credits ranging from Nickelodeon to “Law & Order”, although according to his Bravo profile, he is looking to pivot into writing and directing. “Hopefully, have a feature film in one of the big three festivals,” he told Bravo Insider about his career aspirations.

The former actor is best known for his recurring role of Philip Van Pelt on “Every Witch Way” before joining “Talia in the Kitchen.” Liam also appeared in two episodes of Hilary Duff’s show “Younger” and starred with A$AP Rocky in 2018’s “Monster.”

Currently, Liam is balancing life as a ski instructor and a volunteer firefighter. He also entered the group as a friend of Brooks Marks and has hinted he’ll be a troublemaker this season. “I don’t think you’ll expect anything that happens,” Liam teased to Bravo Insider. He then admitted he “definitely didn’t start off on some people’s good side.”

“They’re all way more friendly than I thought,” he added. “I was expecting to jump into a pool with some sharks — it’s a bunch of dolphins.”

What to know about Rowan Henchy

Rowan Henchy is the daughter of actress/model Brooke Shields and producer Chris Henchy. She recently graduated from Wake Forest University in North Carolina and is now living back with her parents in New York City.

She told Bravo Insider that she has no intention of leaving her family home. “One, because my parents haven’t asked me to leave yet. And two, I’d like to say that I’ve taken on the role of house therapist.”

Rowan is just as ambitious as her famous parents and has her own sights on a career in entertainment. “I’m hoping to be the next female Fallon,” she explained, before adding, “I’m writing a movie. I just finished my second draft of my first screenplay.”

She had her first touch of stardom when she starred alongside her mom in the 13th season of Hallmark Channel show “When Calls The Heart.” She also worked as a booking producer on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” according to her LinkedIn page.

Rowan enters the group as a friend of “Next Gen NYC” co-star Ava Dash. “I had hung out with her a couple of times, but I never really made that connection past just a mutual friendship,” although she has also bonded with Ariana, Gia, Riley and Shai. “I’ve brought my own side of humor to the group,” Rowan said. “I’m really not one to be involved in drama, but if I need to stand up for myself or I feel like someone was treated incorrectly, then I will.”

Outside of her career ambitions, Rowan has been dating a realtor called Brian for four years, is “addicted to SoulCycle”, and has a 52-pound American Staffordshire and a 4-pound long-haired Chihuahua.

Brooke Shields admitted during an appearance on “The Today Show” earlier this year that she was “sick to the stomach” at the idea of her daughter joining the show.

“Be the voice of reason. You’re going to be fine,’” Shields advised her, before revealing that her daughter was using the opportunity to forward her career as “She wants to be in broadcast journalism. She also likes being on camera.”

What We Know About Kendall White

Ivy League graduate Kendall White is currently making a name for herself as a tech girl boss. She has been friends with Liam since childhood and considers him a “brotherly” figure in her life. “We’ve just gone through so much together and so many iterations of our lives,” she said,

She looks up to “Shark Tank” star and fashion designer Emma Grede. But it’s not just the business world Kendall has her eyes on; she has plans on “hopefully having like two kids” in 5-10 years’ time.

“Next Gen NYC” Season 2 is set to premiere on Wednesday, June 24 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
