‘Southern Charm’ Star Jumps to Defend Ciara Miller Amid Difficult News

The Bravo family is showing their support for Ciara Miller after her “Summer House” co-stars Amanda Batula and her ex, West Wilson, confirmed their romance in a joint Instagram statement after weeks of speculation.

Not only have her fellow “Summer House” co-stars, including Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke, rallied around her with an outpouring of support, but so have stars from “Southern Charm,” with Venita Aspen even appearing to throw subtle shade at Batula and Wilson in an Instagram Story.

“Southern Charm” star Venita Aspen is showing major support for her friend and fellow Bravo star Ciara Miller, following the surprising news of Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s romance.

Aspen chose to show her support by taking to Instagram Stories, where over 200,000 followers saw her share a statement of her own that read, “Imagine making a statement hard launching a ‘connection’ and not even considering apologizing to the person you hurt. But I guess that tracks.”

Aspen then followed up her statement with a photo of Miller from when she attended the 2026 Oscars, writing “Love you” underneath.

Aspen’s comments came right after Batula, and Wilson shared similar statements on Instagram, confirming that they were romantically involved.

According to People, Batula and Wilson called their relationship “very new” and even gave fans insight into how it developed. “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”

Following their confirmation, Miller unfollowed both of her co-stars on Instagram.

Before Batula and Wilson confirmed that they were romantically involved, rumors were swirling about a possible hookup. According to People, just two days before the “Summer House” stars made their announcement, “Southern Charm’s” Austen Kroll shared a dinner photo on Instagram and wrote, “Pasta and [expletive] your friends’ exes are apparently so back.”

The post appeared to reference the brewing news that fans had long suspected: that Batula and Wilson were secretly seeing each other.

Interestingly, after sharing his post, “Summer House” stars Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard both shared screenshots of themselves looking shocked and confused from a scene of their show on Instagram Stories. Hubbard also shared a selfie with Miller, making her support clear.

According to a new report by People, the cast of “Summer House” is feeling hurt by both Batula and Wilson, who have kept them completely in the dark about their romance.

“Most people on the cast did not see this coming, and many are still in the dark about what has actually occurred,” the source shared.

The source went on to note that Batula and Wilson “were openly lying about” their relationship, “which forced everyone else to put it together over the past few days as the rest of the world did the same.”

“There’s a lot of hurt, a lot of confusion and a feeling of betrayal among the friend group,” the source added.

According to Us Weekly, the “Summer House” season 10 reunion is scheduled to film in mid-April, which means that fans are likely to see the cast discussing Batula and Wilson’s relationship.

In fact, just hours after Batula and Wilson’s announcement, host Andy Cohen took to X to invite fans to submit questions for the cast. “My team is getting ready for THE SUMMER HOUSE REUNION! Send me all of your questions for the cast NOW and let me know where you’re from in the question!” His post read.

Unsurprisingly, the majority of questions were directed at Batula and Wilson.
