Speaking to Us Weekly, Candace Cameron Bure opened up about embracing her role as a grandmother. “I want to be a fun grandma,” the former Hallmark star shared. “I just, I want to have so much fun with them.”

In her conversation, Bure promised both her children, Natasha Bure Perry and Lev Bure, that she would respect how they parent their kids and would follow their lead.

“I wanna do whatever my kids want me to do. You know, like, everyone has different parenting styles, and however my children choose to parent, I will follow their rules,” she said. “I already had my chance to parent, I got to do that and so this is all about them and I just can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Bure then doubled down on wanting to be the “fun” grandma, stating, “I want to be the fun grandma that the grandkids wanna come over to my place, wanna spend time, we’re going to eat a lot of ice cream together. We’re going to go to the park and play games and all the good things.”
