On Show Day on Tuesday, November 25, Irwin and Carson took to the ballroom stage once again to deliver three performances: a Freestyle routine, a Judges’ Choice round, and an Instant Dance. For this duo, their Freestyle was performed to a combination of “Black and Gold” by Sam Sparro and “The Nights” by Avicii, and their Judges’ Choice is a quickstep to “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” by Jet, with the help of Derek Hough.
For the first dance of the night, the pair performed a Quickstep, and the judges scored them 29 out of 30. Carrie Ann Inaba held back one point, and although some fans were disappointed that Carson and Irwin did not get their perfect score, others agreed with her decision.
Irwin and Carson’s next performance was the Instant Dance Challenge. Irwin blindly picked the Cha Cha, and they wowed judges with a score of 30 out of 30.
