Excited fans of ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ spotted a familiar face in the crowd on the Tuesday, October 21 episode of series 34.
It’s not unusual to see famous attendees in the DWTS audience, but this one grabbed fans’ attention more than most.
The famous face in question? Taylor Hanson. The star witnessed the elimination of singer Scott Hoying and his professional partner Rylee Arnold.
Hanson, 42, is, of course, best known for being a member of the eponymous pop rock band Hanson, alongside his brothers Isaac and Zac. His appearance at ‘Wicked’ Night did indeed cause quite the stir online.
‘Get Him on Next Season,’ Fans Say
In one post on the Reality Ops Instagram page, an image showing Taylor Hanson in the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ crowd was shown. It had a text overlay that read, “Watching DWTS & Seeing Taylor Hanson Come On My Screen 😍” followed by “Get him on next season, please!!!!”
That seemed to be a common theme, as a user on X wrote, “America let’s get Taylor Hanson on dancing with the stars that would be amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#WeWantTaylorHansonOnDWTS @hansonmusic.”
Others were simply overjoyed to see the star, with another X user writing, “Was not looking forward to having to watch Wicked night on DWTS but thankfully TaylorHanson is in the audience so I now have something worth paying attention to 😘.”
Someone else on the same platform wrote, “Oh hi there Taylor Hanson in the audience #DWTS.”

Hanson Confirmed His ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Attendance on Instagram
As if his being caught on camera and the legions of fans reacting to it wasn’t enough, Taylor Hanson confirmed his attendance at ‘Dancing with the Stars’ on Instagram.
In a post that contained a single image of his view from his seat, Hanson simply commented, “👀💃🕺.” It sent his fans into even more of a furore.
One fan wrote, “You’re living my dream! Say hi to Jordan and Robert!”
Another said, “Screamed when I saw you sitting in the crowd!! 🙌🏻”
Someone else commented, “I thought I saw you ✨️.”
Meanwhile, yet another fan echoed the sentiment previously mentioned, writing, “My fav season so far!

There’s no word on whether Hanson is in contention to appear on next year’s ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ or if he would be interested in participating. However, his fans would clearly love to see it happen.
‘Dancing with the Stars’ continues next week on Tuesday, October 21, on ABC at 8 p.m. EST. Rather excitingly, it’s the eagerly anticipated annual Halloween Night.
