Gwyneth Paltrow, 53, Looks Incredible as She Shows Off Her Abs in New Video

Gwyneth Paltrow looked incredible in a video she posted on Instagram on Saturday, September 5. The clip promotes the Jules sweater, a lightweight design made from Italian cashmere and available in four colors. Fans can buy it from Paltrow’s lifestyle and wellness brand, Goop. To get fans’ attention, she tried one on in a short clip.

Gwyneth Paltrow Shows Off Her Incredible Abs in New Video

In the video, when Paltrow puts on the sweater, her abs are clearly visible, and her physique is impressive! She teased in the caption that the sweaters would be discounted over the weekend. And yes, while some fans are impressed with the design and want to add one or more to their wardrobe, others have praised the “Iron Man” actress in the post’s comment section. “You got every bit of your mom’s beauty and then some,” a comment reads.

“Always my fashion icon,” another fan shared. “Hi sweetheart. You look so nice. I miss you, darling,” a third comment reads.

At 53, Paltrow is serious about wellness, but she has also spoken honestly about aging and working out. In a July 2023 interview with British Vogue, the “The Goop Lab with Gwyneth Paltrow” star discussed her workouts. “I’m still a Tracy Anderson girl all these years later; it just works so well!” she said. “It’s really kept my body looking a lot younger than it should. I also love to walk – I walk and walk and walk! Someone once said to me ‘walking brings the soul and the body together,’ and I really believe that.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Makes Candid Comments About Aging

Paltrow also spoke about aging in a realistic and powerful way. She said that women should want to age, and that it is an honor to do so. “I think it’s culture’s problem [that women seem to be judged more on getting older than men],” she said. “It’s not ours! As women, we want to be healthy; we want to be aging. This idea that we’re supposed to be frozen in time is so weird.”

She praised actresses like Andie MacDowell, who has chosen to go gray, and reacted to how men and women are discussed differently, with the media saying women are embracing aging while someone like George Clooney is praised for his good looks when he goes gray. “It’s handsome to go grey [as a man], but for women it’s like, ‘What do you plan to do about your wrinkles and your aging skin?’ There’s definitely a double standard,” she said.

This is a double standard many actresses have spoken about before, and stars continue to inspire by speaking out and promoting change. Paltrow believes women shouldn’t be shy about aging, and they have the right to do it how they want. “Every woman should do it how they want to do it. Some women want to address every single thing aesthetically, and some women want to be a fabulous French grandmother who doesn’t ever do anything,” she said. “Everybody should be empowered to do it how they want to.”
