Mandy Moore recently wowed fans by showing up to an industry event in a form-fitting red dress that was absolutely stunning. Now, she’s impressed people yet again by wearing an on-trend sheer skirt while attending the 2025 CFDA Awards at The American Museum of Natural History in New York City on Monday, November 3.
The first time in years that she has attended this particular event, she last showed up in 2017 when she presented the Accessories Designer of the Year award.
This time around, “Moore turned heads in a shockingly sheer skirt and ombré sequin top as she posed for photos at the fashion ceremony,” according to People.
Getty“Her statement-making look featured a sleeveless shirt covered in oversize paillettes that bled into blues on the bottom,” they added. “She paired it with a see-through skirt in coordinating hues, showing off nothing but leg beneath it.”
She also wore her hair down and just enough makeup to match her overall look. Beyond that, she wore blue drop earrings and a couple of rings but opted not to wear a necklace which is definitely the right choice when wearing such an eye-catching top.
For her shoes, she went with delicate high heels that didn’t compete with her outfit, but did complement it.

Mandy obviously opted for an on-trend look when she chose to wear a sheer skirt, and it definitely paid off. When Just Jared posted photos of Mandy on Instagram, some fans made it clear that they loved the look that she wore to the 2025 CFDA Awards.
