Teyana Taylor has done it again! When the star showed up as an honoree to ELLE’s 2025 Women in Hollywood Celebration in Los Angeles on Monday, November 17, she wore a dress that couldn’t be ignored.
Opting to slip on “a bold, hooded gold Balmain gown,” according to Elle, “[t]he striking ensemble featured a daring plunging neckline and a statement gold belt that cinched below her waist. She completed the look with gold strappy heels.”

“Teyana Taylor is a multi-hyphenate artist known for her expressive creativity and enticing individuality,” according to The Root. “Rising to fame as a teenage choreographer for Beyonce and later signing with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music, she quickly became a influential figure within the music and fashion industries.”
Beyond that, The Root notes that “[o]ver the years, her style has evolved from edgy streetwear to sleek, avant-garde couture, which has cemented her status as a celebrity trendsetter.”
Teyana Shows the Public Only What She Chooses
GettyTeyana may slay while attending industry events as she works in the public eye, and that’s because that’s the side she wants you to see in that particular situation.
In September, she was asked by Marie Claire, “How has your perspective on what it means to be in the public eye changed over the years?”
“One thing about me is, I’ve always been very, very, shy and private,” she said in response. “People may think, Oh, well, you had a TV show, but that just means you’re going to see what you’re going to see, but it doesn’t take away the private person that I am.”
“I show you what I choose to show you,” she continued. “I take my private life very seriously. My whole life being on Front Street, that’s what comes with the territory. That’s what comes with being in this business, and the most we can do is navigate our privacy as best as we can. I’m fine for you to be in whatever part of the business that I choose to share, but I don’t want you in my business.”
