A few jaws surely dropped when Teyana Taylor showed up for the Time100 Next event in New York City on October 30. While she slayed a bold blazer, that was nothing compared to the sheer dress she wore.
A piece from Tom Ford’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, according to Parade, the upper area of the dress was little more than a strand of fabric. As it stretched down her incredibly toned tummy, it got gradually wider until it wrapped around her hips. Reaching even further down, the gown covered her feet and flowed into a lengthy train. Underneath, she wore a pair of black panties and seemingly nothing else.
She paired the look with dark makeup, glam hair and dangling earrings.

“Baby if I looked like that I’d be wearing the SAMEEEE THINGGGG 😍😍😍😍,” one person wrote on People’s post.
When Entertainment Tonight shared a look at Teyana’s ensemble, another person left a similar comment, writing, “If I had her body I’d walk around like that as well 😂she’s a smoke show.”
“ONLY Teyana could pull this off 😍🔥,” came from another fan of the look.
Someone else left a comment, saying, “She’s so gorgeous!!!”
Teyana Likes Tailored Pieces

Noting that she would rather wear a tailored piece when she has the choice, she added, “I’m in suits even without it being a suit theme.”
Teyana Revealed Her Style & Beauty Inspiration
In October 2017, Fashionista asked Teyana, “How would you describe your approach to beauty, and who do you look to for inspiration for style and for beauty?”
“I look to my mom for style and beauty, when I tell you she has the most perfect skin, the most perfect cheekbones, the most perfect complexion. She just looks like chocolate milk, you know what I’m saying? She is everything,” Teyana answered.
“She loves water, she’s really big on skin care and water and different things like that,” Teyana continued. “And she’s really where I get my style from — like, I was highly influenced by the ’90s, but back then even growing up in the ’90s, my mom was always on top of the latest and the greatest, always on point.”
