Tom Blyth Defends Girlfriend Daniela Norman’s Sheer Party Dress

Tom Blyth has stepped up to defend his girlfriend, after she received harsh comments about the outfit she wore to the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars party.

The “People We Meet On Vacation” star stood up for his partner Daniela Norman when she was attacked online for her “vulgar” dress.

Norman accompanied Blyth to the Vanity Fair party in a sheer Giorgio Armani slip dress. The dress featured sparkly beaded embellishments and a deep V-neck. A pair of black underwear was visible beneath the dress, as well as the top half of Norman’s body.

Blyth shared a photo of his time at the party on Instagram, with most commenters staying positive about the couple.

However, the dress drew some negativity from anonymous internet trolls, Hello! reported.

“He looks handsome and elegant, but his girlfriend, on the other hand, looks incredibly vulgar, dressed completely inappropriately for the occasion,” said a critic.

Blyth was quick to leap to defend his partner, commenting back “stfu. She wore a dress that she was excited by and she looked EXQUISITE in it.”

Fans praised Blyth’s support of his girlfriend.

“Now that’s a MAN[…] get em tom,” one user said, while another commented “You’re right, she looks EXQUISITE.”

Blyth later edited the caption of his photo gallery to read, “Vanity Fair Party + LA/NYC with lovers and friends. Feeling blessed by the excellent dogs, dawgs and nipples in my life.”

The Vanity Fair party marked a rare public appearance for the couple. Their first red carpet outing was at the Toronto International Film Festival, supporting Blyth’s film “The Fence.”

They have also made appearances at the BFI London Film Festival and Paris Fashion Week, said People.

As well as being known for her “Tiny Pretty Things” role, Norman is a talented dancer who performed with the English National Ballet.

“I danced the role of Clara in ‘The Nutcracker’ whilst I was training professionally with Anna Du Boisson,” Norman said in an interview. “There was definitely a moment onstage where I realised I wanted to do this everyday.”

“Not just ballet, but the feeling of performing. I knew I had to be in the creative industry, whether it was acting or dance… or perhaps I’d get to do it all!”
