Brennan Elliott Hints at Hallmark Return in Since-Deleted Posts

One year after longtime Hallmark star Brennan Elliott lost his wife Camilla Rowe to gastric cancer, he has posted multiple exciting updates in March and April 2026 about filming a “special project,” hinting that his highly anticipated return to Hallmark Channel is imminent.

The dad of two, who has starred in over 30 Hallmark movies, deleted two of the messages hours after posting. But plenty of fans still got the message: Brennan Elliott will be back soon!

Brennan Elliott Started His Movie Updates on His Birthday

Elliott announced Rowe’s passing on March 22, 2025, after her long battle with stage four gastric cancer — and two days before his 50th birthday. Understandably, Elliott took time away from the spotlight to grieve with their kids, Liam and Luna.

The actor’s return to TV came in January 2026, when he guest-starred on an episode of ABC’s “911.” But his most recent updates seemed to reveal that he is back filming with Hallmark, too.

In fact, Elliott was likely filming on the first anniversary of Rowe’s death. On March 24, his 51st birthday, Elliott thrilled fans with an Instagram selfie and an update that said, “Been a bit quiet on #instagram cause this guy is filming a new project 👏👏 coming out this year! So I am blessed to be on set today and can’t wait to share it all with you when it’s done!”

While that is the most recent post that appears on Elliott’s Instagram feed, two other posts reviewed by EntertainmentNow were later deleted. Elliott frequently deletes Instagram posts as he curates his timeline, but the latest updates were gone especially quickly.

The first was on March 28, when Elliott posted a photo of himself looking pensively out a plane window with Creedence Clearwater Revival’s song “Fortunate Son” accompanying the post.

In the caption, Elliott wrote that he had “just wrapped a very personal and special movie.” At the end of the caption, he included the hashtag #hallmarkchannel, which thrilled fans who’ve been hoping for a new Hallmark project (his last movie was 2024’s “His & Hers” with Lacey Chabert).

Then, on the night of April 3, Elliott posted another photo of himself in a car, wearing a black leather jacket and shades. In the caption, he wrote, “Hey best fans in the world!!! Back home from filming everyone! Been quiet on the #Instagram, but thought I should at least let you beautiful fans know why!”

“I have had to be quiet on this one,” Elliott continued, “cause it’s a special project, but can speak about it when I can! Exhausted would be an understatement but another journey done! THANKYOU all for always pushing and wanting me to create more content!”

Elliott also reminded fans to be wary of online impersonators and to report any other social media accounts pretending to be him — an issue that has plagued many Hallmark stars over the last several years.

Whenever and whatever the new Hallmark project is, fans will be over the moon to see Elliott back on the network after witnessing from afar the hard road his family has traveled in recent years.

In December, he told EntertainmentNow during ChristmasCon, “It’s an honor to be able to do something, a character from a movie, that makes somebody feel good. As I always say, you never feel bad after watching a Hallmark movie. It’s an honor. It’s an honor to make them. I’ve done 30 or 31 — I would rather do these the rest of my career ’cause they’re great, you know?”

  1. So glad to hear that Brennan Elliott is back with Hallmark and filming movies. He is a great father for putting everything on hold after his wife passed away so he could be there for his children while they grieved together. Theye will always remember that their Dad was there for them.
    Welcome back Brennan!

  2. I had what I believe was an impersonator claiming to be Brennan Elliot. We shared comments about grieving and then this person was asking me for my phone number, which I didn’t think Brennan would ever do. I mean, I’m not famous or anything but I have insight into grief and always willing to help but I immediately got suspicious. However, Brennan if it was you, it was flattering to be talking to you! LOL!
