“When Calls the Heart” star Lori Loughlin is embracing life again after her split from Mossimo Giannulli.
The returning Hallmark star made a surprise appearance in the season 13 finale of WCTH and has started to make some public appearances. Apparently, she is dipping her toe back into the dating pool now, as well.
Lori Loughlin Is ‘Just Having Fun’ for Now
According to Us Weekly on April 1, Loughlin is embracing the opportunity to move forward after her divorce. “Lori has been putting herself back out there after her split from Mossimo and is dating again,” the insider for Us Weekly shared.
The media outlet’s source added that at this stage, Loughlin is “just having fun and keeping things light and casual.”
She may be dating, but for now, “It is nothing serious,” the source shared. The insider also noted that it seems that Loughlin has “her spark back” again.
News of Giannulli and Loughlin’s split emerged in October 2025. The two had been married for nearly 30 years.
Giannulli, 62, has not publicly acknowledged dating anyone new. However, he was spotted several times since he split from Loughlin with stylist Hannah Harrison, 32.
The ‘When Calls the Heart’ Star Is ‘Enjoying Her Independence’
Overall, the Us Weekly source shared, Loughlin is “in such a good headspace lately.”
Now that it’s been a few months since the split from Giannulli, “The dust has settled.”
Loughlin is said to be spending a lot of time with her daughters and “enjoying her independence.” Her friends are angling to set her up on blind dates, and for now, insiders told Us Weekly, she’s just “having fun with it all.”
“She feels her life has gotten better and less heavy recently,” added the media outlet’s source.
That’s not to say that Louglin has fully put the painful split behind her. An additional source for Us Weekly explained that she is “still kind of shaking off her divorce.” She’s doing her best, though, and leaning on her girlfriends.
Loughlin made an appearance at the recent premiere event for Hallmark’s new streaming series, “Hope Valley: 1874.” Set up as a prequel to “When Calls the Heart,” the stars of both shows attended an event to chat with fans and media.
PauseRewind talked to Loughlin on the red carpet, who said her return to “When Calls the Heart” was “very emotional.”
She explained, “First of all, the cast is like my family, and it was just so special to come back to the show.”
In addition, Loughlin shared, “To go back to that set is going to be amazing, I love where we shoot, and I’m over the moon, I’m so happy.”
