Hallmark fan favorite Tyler Hynes stars in a new movie debuting this spring, and the network has just released the first sneak peeks of it. “I’ll Be Seeing You” stars Hynes as Mark Appleyard, and his co-stars include Christine Ebersole and Stacey Farber.
On April 7, Hallmark gave fans the first trailer previews for “I’ll Be Seeing You,” and it looks like fans will have a blast with this one.
Tyler Hynes Plays a ‘Charming Activities Director’
Hallmark’s description of the movie teases, “When a work errand derails Amy’s weekend plans with her grandma, they embark on a road trip with one sentimental detour.”
Farber plays Amy, and Ebersole plays her grandmother, Vivien. Hynes’ character is the “charming activities director” who steps up to help during that sentimental detour. BJ Harrison plays Sue, who seems to tag along for the fun road trip.
Hynes isn’t the only star of “I’ll Be Seeing You” who will be a familiar face for Hallmark fans.
Farber has starred in several previous projects for the network. She was in the 2024 movie “Hanukkah on the Rocks,” as well as the 2023 film “A Season for Family.” She can also be seen in “The Spencer Sisters” on Hallmark+.
As for Ebersole, the iconic entertainer was seen in Hallmark’s “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.” Hynes also starred in that movie, and he has been open about how much both he and his mom adore her.
‘I’ll Be Seeing You’ Is a Project Close to Hynes’ Heart
As EntertainmentNow previously noted, Hynes was an executive producer on “I’ll Be Seeing You,” and he helped develop it, as well.
In March, Hynes opened up about his love for this project via social media. In a TikTok post, he wrote, “This was the first project I put into development at Hallmark as a producer. There’s a reason for that.”
He gushed, “There’s a voice I’ve grown to deeply cherish. A voice I’ve had the privilege of acting opposite. A voice I have the honour of meeting on these tours. And I wanted that voice to take center stage.”
Hynes added, “I deeply admire the generation that came before me. Not just for their wisdom but for their spirit. And there’s nothing more beautiful [than] when I hear of families using these movies as multigenerational shared experiences.”
Hallmark“So here it is. A title and a song I’ve shared with you for years. A movie inspired by you. Made with you [in] mind. With exactly the people I wished to make it with,” Hynes wrote.
He teased that there were “endless stories of how this came to be and what the experience was.” After fans watch the premiere of the movie, they’ll almost certainly be begging Hynes to share it all.
“I’ll Be Seeing You” premieres on Hallmark on Saturday, April 25, at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central.

I love all of Tyler Hynes movies. They’re all special in there own way. God Bless you Hallmark and Tyler Hynes and all the production staff.
