It’s been an incredibly designing year for HGTV stars Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt. New episodes of “100 Day Dream Home” premiered on the network and they were also announced as the designers of HGTV’s Smart Home 2026 giveaway.
But even amid all the major career milestones, Mika and Brian are just like any other married couple at the end of the day. They happily share their lives and cheer each other on.

Brian & Mika Kleinschmidt Share Another Important Occasion Together
Although Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt are happily married today, they once revealed they were polar opposites in high school. They even became incredibly competitive with one another.
“We both are very competitive. Looking all the way back to high school, we used to race each other to the lunchroom,” Brian shared on Instagram. “We had history class right before lunch, and we would stand by the door. As soon as the bell rang, we took off.”
But today, the happy couple couldn’t be more in sync. In honor of Brian’s birthday, Mika posted a touching tribute on social media.

The Kleinschmidts Celebrate Another Major Milestone
While Brian’s birthday is certainly an exciting occasion, the Kleinschmidt family had another major reason to celebrate over the past few months. Their daughter Jade just turned 17.
“In the blink of an eye Jade is 17. 🥹” Brian shared in an emotional Instagram tribute to his daughter. “Happy Birthday to the best thing that has ever happened to me. 🥳 🙌”
Although the Kleinschmidts have quite a bit on their plates, fans feel glad to see they still take time to honor one another.
