Longtime HGTV fans know that since Christina Haack‘s debut on the network nearly 15 years ago, she’s gone through many changes, from her three marriages to her career as a designer and entrepreneur. But Haack’s latest change to her hair is what has fans buzzing now.
In a joint post on August 14, 2026, “The Flip Off” star and Lush Locks shared a before-and-after video at the salon, with Haack captioning the post, “Just a little 20” pick-me-up✨☺️” and crediting her “fave extension brand” for her new look. In the video, Haack first gave fans a rare look at her naturally straight, shoulder-length hair. She then showed her glamorous new look with 20-inch, thick and wavy blonde extensions.

Fans and famous friends flooded the post with reactions to both of Haack’s looks. Many fans commented that Haack’s natural hair reminded them of her early HGTV days, when she skyrocketed to fame on “Flip or Flop” with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa.
Interestingly, El Moussa’s sister Angelique is one of Haack’s trusted hairstylists (she owns Latitude 33 Hair Artistry in Anaheim, California) and she co-founded Lush Locks, the luxury hair extension brand that Haack now swears by. In an endorsement on the company’s website, Haack called Lush Locks the “best extensions I have ever had.”
Angelique commented on Haack’s latest post, “Love our Lush queen 🩷” and Haack replied, “love youuuu”
“Real Housewives of Orange County” star (and “The Flip-Off” guest judge) Heather DuBrow called Haack’s new look “gorgeous,” and Tarek’s second wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, signaled her approval with five emoji: “❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥”

One comment that drew nearly 250 likes said, “I like both looks, but shorter hair is super cute.” Another agreed, “Christina, your natural hair is beautiful.”
Others thanked Haack for being transparent about enhancing her hair, including one who wrote, “I really appreciate how you show your own hair,” and another who thanked her “for being real.”
“Saw rerun of Christina on the Coast,” someone else commented. “Your extensions were shoulder length. Also a good look.” Angelique’s Latitude 33 salon agreed, replying, “Yes! She switches up the length, but slays every look!!☺️✨
When several fans asked for details on Haack’s new extensions, the salon informed them that Haack gets “2 rows, a few k-tips in the bang area 🩷.” The salon also noted that she uses “a blend of our extensions, but we offer genius wefts, machine wefts, tape ins, k-tips and customized clip ins☺️”
This is not the first time Haack has shared videos or photos of herself after getting new extensions. In May 2024, she posted a before-and-after video with her now-16-year-old daughter Taylor, whom she shares with Tarek. While Haack lengthened her straight hair, her daughter got fresh blonde highlights.
In 2025, Haack posted several photos of herself with new extensions and wrote, “Sometimes a fresh look is more than just hair—it’s a reminder that you’re allowed to begin again, bolder and better than ever. Empowered. Elevated. Unapologetically you.”
