Dave & Jenny Marrs Share Thoughts on ‘Fixer to Fabulous’ Season 8
Following Dave and Jenny’s update about wrapping filming on “Fixer to Fabulous” season 7, fans are eager to know if another season is in store.
HGTV has yet to announce the show’s renewal and the stars can’t confirm another season, but they are happy to continue doing “Fixer to Fabulous.”
In a December 2025 interview with TV Insider, Dave and Jenny revealed they “don’t know” the fate of “Fixer to Fabulous.”
“I think we will keep doing this as long as we can,” Jenny said. “As long as people enjoy the show and as long as we get to be a part of making people’s homes beautiful and telling people’s stories.”
She added, “It’s really a pretty cool job that we get to have. We’ll just keep doing it as long as we’re relevant.”
Dave noted that ratings come into play as “HGTV is running a business.”
“It’s a testament to the people that have come alongside us and are watching the show,” he shared. “What an honor that we’re still relevant after seven years [since we shot the pilot]. I don’t ever want to forget that.”
Dave added, “To have someone come up to us that says, ‘Hey, this is a show where my daughter and my mother and I, we all watch it together,’ is such an honor. As long as we can do that and be relevant in people’s lives, we’ll keep doing it.”
‘Fixer to Fabulous’ Continues to Keep Renovations Fresh
Jenny also shared her thoughts on how the different homes and families on their show keep things interesting for viewers.
“We get to work with so many different families and they have different wants and different needs and different homes, different style homes, so I really think just the nature of the fact that they’re so unique and different really does keep it fresh,” she explained.
The HGTV star continued, “None of these houses are like anything we’ve done before. Or even if the house is, the family isn’t, and their needs are different. I think if we weren’t designing a home for a family, if it was just a home that has to be neutral, then it would be repetitive.”
Jenny added, “But we really do try to make each home very specific to who lives there.”
On December 22, Jenny took to Instagram to share that they had wrapped filming on “an extremely difficult season.”
“We filmed our last reveal of the season today! 🎉” she wrote in the caption.
Jenny continued, “And, tomorrow, a new episode airs that is extremely personal to us. It was the hardest episode we have ever filmed and the most emotional project we’ve ever been a part of. I’ll never understand the timing of all that transpired but I have to believe and trust that, in all things, no matter how hard and unexpected, God is working.”
She promised to share more details about working on the home for their dear neighbors who passed away. “For now, we are exhaling and celebrating the wrap on an extremely difficult season with grateful hearts for the love we have felt all along the way,” Jenny noted.

Please renew Fixer to Fabulous. We need shows of substance, family values & foster a sense of community.
We love your show and it’s automatically taped incase we can’t watch it when it airs.
I really enjoy Fixer to Fabulous! I also hope it is renewed. Each show is different with unique ideas and I love the dynamics of the Jenny and Dave.
