HGTV’s Nicole Curtis Teases ‘Rehab Addict’ Return in Latest Update Following Delay

HGTV fans eager for new episodes of “Rehab Addict” are finally getting an update from Nicole Curtis. After previously promising the show would return in the fall, Curtis teased that a firm airdate for the delayed season is coming.

Nicole Curtis Gives New ‘Rehab Addict’ Update

On January 18, Curtis took to Instagram to provide a “Rehab Addict” update since the show never aired the remaining episodes in the fall.

“What’s smothered in CBD Balm, wearing an outfit from 2016, fighting off a migraine, but with amazing looking eyebrows, laying in 10C, thinking ‘I’m never gonna hear the end of this one’ 😍 but who am I to ever listen about what I should to — how boring would that be?” she noted in the caption.

Curtis continued, “It’s me NC — have no fears — you will have an airdate when I return. Yes, on HGTV, yes, it’s still ‘Rehab Addict,’ yes, I KNOW I SAID FALL — but in my defense, I didn’t say Fall of 2025. (That’s the lawyer in me).”

The HGTV star added, “Anyhow, the ‘get on a plane to Japan’ thing in my brain got the best of me so here I am. 2 years ago today — it [took] me to India, making use of 65 flights cross-country to save old houses for you ❤️❤️❤️.”

In the comments section, many fans shared that they’re patiently waiting for the return of “Rehab Addict.”

“Keep doing what you’re doing. Last fall, this fall, next fall — us true fans will be there,” one follower wrote.

On January 9, Curtis shared a video on Instagram that noted, “Weekend Vibes: ‘Restoring a Detroit Crackhouse’ Episode 1.”

“Picture it’s August and you just discovered you own a CrackHouse,” she wrote in the caption.

Curtis continued, “Step by step: 1. Grab some gloves and boots. 2. Grab your best friend, the one who enjoys your company so much that even a smelly, dirty, drug-filled house sounds fun. 3. If you’re me — film it — just in case you decide to unretire. 4. Restore it so great that even you would live in it and share it on HGTV for the world to see.”

One fan asked in the comments, “When can we see this?” Curtis responded, “Soon.”

Curtis Paused New ‘Rehab Addict’ Season for a Relatable Reason

After the first two episodes of the new season of “Rehab Addict” aired, the show suddenly was absent from the TV schedule.

On July 8, Curtis took to Instagram to explain “what is going on.”

“I made the executive decision to shelf the rest of our new shows until Fall. I appreciate your support and understanding for the late notice,” the HGTV star wrote in the caption. “It’s just a lot of hours (my hours) to get a show on air and we (my family + me) thought — why are we giving up Summer when we have the ability to do this in the Fall?”

She noted, “Thank you to the powers [that] be at HGTV that were receptive to our idea.”

On October 23, Curtis took to Instagram to give fans an update on “Rehab Addict,” noting that she recut the shows and was working to finalize the episodes.

“This is unheard of, typically, because production is production and talent is talent and no one would spend money when they don’t have to. However, I’m the talent and I am the production and I rewatched these and thought — I have a different idea now,” she explained.

In a December 10 email newsletter, Curtis revealed, “Show — coming back Feb HGTV — yes!”
