The “Ordinary” singer was at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and greeted fans by jumping over the barrier. On his descent, he slipped on the production equipment below him and fell. It appeared to be a painful moment, yet despite his injury and the crowd’s concern, Warren kept his sense of humor. He posted a clip on Instagram showing the incident, captioning it with, “They told me to break a leg before the show.”
Fans and celebrity friends reacted to the clip. Among the reactions was one from Charlie Puth, who wrote, “Oh my god.” Actor Taylor Lautner wrote, “Brother.”

Alex Warren Enjoys Time in Australia
Just a day earlier, Warren shared a clip with Robert Irwin. The pair are walking through what appears to be Australia Zoo. Warren and Irwin have been hanging out since his time in Australia, and the wildlife conservationist and “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 winner attended his concert and joined him onstage at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Irwin shared a clip from the evening on Instagram.
Warren has been having an incredible time on tour, but he has previously spoken about the challenges of being away from home, specifically from his wife, Kouvr Annon. “The travel’s the biggest change for sure. I’m not used to being away from my wife this much,” he told People in December 2025. “I’m not used to being away from my house, I’m a huge homebody.”
He continued, “We were together for five years every single day, and then all of a sudden, you know, I’m gone eight months out of the year. She comes with me a lot. But it’s definitely been a learning curve, for sure.”
Alex Warren Shares Love for His Wife
Warren and Annon have been together since 2018 and married in 2024 at Ethereal Gardens in Escondido, California. Their relationship has impacted his career, even inspiring his hit song, “Ordinary.” In an interview with People, Warren opened up about their coupling.
“I’ve been trying my best to just be a present husband. With the constant (expletive) changing and constant, you know, ‘Oh, hey, you have a week off,’ and then all of a sudden that week’s filled with something, and you’re traveling to Europe,” he said. “There’s a lot of parts where you’re kind of like, ‘Oh, dang, we had a lot of stuff planned, but we have to put on the back burner for later in the year.”
In May, Warren praised his wife in an Instagram post celebrating her birthday. “It’s my wife’s birthday and I struggle to find how to put into words how you changed my life,” he wrote. “Without you I’m still some homeless kid who had nothing to really live for. No one believed in me but you did. I don’t want to make this some sappy message and ruin what I wrote in your birthday card so I’ll leave you with this. I’m so happy you exist I’m so happy I found you and I will forever actively try to put the toilet seat down at 3am so you never fall in again.”
